I've been going to LBI every summer for the past 24 years, and as long as i can remember there's always been a line way out the door at Skipper Dipper on any summer night -- my family always avoided it since there were at least a dozen other ice cream places on the island we liked better. OK, we were on vacation which means we get to eat really unhealthy...so, we stumbled upon this place which had huge lines and figured it must be very good. Well, it is beyond good, it is great! I grew up going to this little place on vacation. This past week, we were on Long Beach Island for a week. We stopped in at Skipper Dipper, and not only were they friendly and efficient, the ice cream was fabulous!
