Joined 4 friends at this very pleasant linen tablecloth restaurant on a quiet Saturday night. Excellent and professional service. Our friends tried a house special chicken and fish spicy soup. They described as a very flavorful and spicy soup. My wife and I each had the tasty vegetarian wonton soup. Four shared entrees was enough for the 6 of us.... More

On every trip to pick up (or eat-in) at Ling Ling, I am always greeted by my name and definitely with a smile! Couple that with the consistently good food and I keep going back. Believe it or not, my favorite is a Spring Roll...or two!

Haven't changed their menu in years. ON the plus side you can order and eat in 30 minutes. There is lots of take out on the weeknights. This is a normal take out Chinese place, if you like Chinese food you will like it. We had a bad experience because we are vegetarian and specifically ordered vegetarian and we got... More

Whether you eat in or take out, the food is consistently good. The service is very quick and the food is always hot and delicious. You can bring in a bottle of wine. Sometimes can be crowded and noisy. Reservations recommended.

Since there were no sit down Chinese restaurants (excluding the buffet style place, that make the food in bulk) in our area of NJ (Warren County), so we ventured out to Basking Ridge based on recommendation of my wife's co-worker. We were very pleased with the service and the food at Ling Ling's. We started off w/ streamed dumplings, then... More

Ordered Kung Pao chicken, but received just a tiny amount of bland, tasteless shredded chicken and green beans, also with no peanuts and no bell pepper. Kung Pao is a universally common dish at every single Chinese restaurant I've ever been to, apparently not at Ling Ling. When I pointed out these issues, the "manager" spun a ridiculous story about... More

All their ingredients are very fresh. The dishes are light--not loaded with oil. They also have fast take-out service with comfortable seating while you wait.

I find the flavor of the food quite good. Everything is carefully prepared so I've never come across issues like overcooked vegetables that seem to occur at other Chinese restaurants. The service is also polite and attentive. This is my go-to place for Chinese food.
