Stopped in with a few friends for drinks and appetizers on a Friday evening. The lounge area was quite full (there was a wedding going on in their gazebo and the guests must have been waiting in the bar while pictures were being taken). There is another lounge area that was empty and we were told that it wouldn't be... More

We ate here twice on our recent trip to Wolfeboro. On both visits, we had amazing meals. The food is high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Wolfe's tavern clearly takes pride in their food. We can't wait to go back!

Drafts are $7! Yikes. Sandwiches were all around $12 - they came w/ fries though. They didn't seem busy - yet, to be seated took about 10 mins. Everything just came slow. It was over one 1/2 hours from start to finish - closer to two hours - which is way too long. I would probably pick another place for... More

If burgers are your thing, you'll probably be happy here. Wolfe's Tavern has lots of burgers, but little choice for meat-avoiding eaters like us. Our mojito was poor, the beer was good, and the location out on the deck was tops. Overall, it's a solid three-star (maybe four if you love burgers), but I doubt that we'll be back.

Tonight we revisited Wolf's Tavern were seated and after a slight wait were greeted by our waitress Lindsay, who was quick to announce they were short of help. She then took our beverage order and returned with our drinks. The menus offered different appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pizzas as well as normal dinner entries. The cauliflower soup of the day was... More

While on vacation in New Hampshire, my husband and I traveled to Wolfeboro to visit the Wright Museum. The town looks very touristy, something I take as a plus. Lots of little shops and restaurants with teeming crowds. We looked on TA for lunch recs and chose this one because it was very highly ranked on the list and had... More

Carol, We are embarrassed and disappointed to rank as one of the worst restaurant meals you have ever eaten. We never want you leaving our Tavern feeling like it was a waste of time or money, we want our delicious food and service to wow you! We would really appreciate the opportunity to make it up to you and your... More

Came here for a Sunday Brunch and was so disappointed. My Mom really wanted a trip down memory lane from an experience she had had over 10 years ago there. She remembered the breakfast was in a room that overlooked the water. Well, this time around, it was in the basement floor of the tavern. We were seated with a... More

Drove 35 miles from North Conway for lunch. We were offered indoor seating or outdoor seating. Hostess very helpful. We were seated in 10 minutes in a room with hundreds of pewter mugs hanging from the ceiling which belong to customers. Service was great. Menu selections were very creative and unique. Food was outstanding and portions were ample. Other meals... More
