Everyone but me seems to like this place but in the three times I have eaten there over the past years, I have become ill. I suspect my allergies may be to blame so perhaps it is not fair of me to review the restaurant. I also felt it to have less than good service and the ambiance a little... More

This is where the locals come - waiting all winter for the short dining season. Established almost fifty years ago - delivering delicious Asian cuisine year after year. Ask for porch seating. Awesome in a rain storm!

Very good food... Atmosphere is open air in the porch to tye died tablecloths . Reminds me of being in the Carribbean. Service was ok this year, previous year better. Remember this is a Byob place... Excellent sushi when they have it.

I have driven by here for 12 years, and finally stopped. I should have read the Tripadvisor reviews first - didn't bring my own bottle, but saw the "no credit cards" sign on the door, and had enough cash to enter. Very quirky - loved the screen porch in the trees. Seemed odd to get a basket of popcorn when... More

I can't believe that I have been driving by this place for 40 years and this is my first visit. The place isn't much to look at, more like an old-time summer cottage than a restaurant. It's on Rte 28 tucked into the trees on the outskirts of town very near the Alton-Wolfeboro town line but it is always busy.... More

A local favorite that never disappoints. From the service to the decor, it's like eating at a friend's house...a friend who has an amazing cook in the family! The wasabi shumai on the specials list was terrific and the pancit canton (with chicken instead of shrimp) was perfect! Love everything about this place. If the weather is going to be... More

Don't judge this restaurant by appearance, that keept us away for many years. Friends told us the food was excellent and they were right. The service is not up to big city standards but then this is a seasonal restaurant with seasonal help. It is an evening affair, a time to sit with friends or some one special and enjoy great... More

This place is a truly one-of-a-kind experience. (In fact, I hesitate to review it because I don't want everyone going there!) Open only four months out of the year, this seasonal restaurant has been offering pan-Asian cuisine for 40 years. It is BYOB (and no corking fee), and it's not air conditioned, and you can expect service to be friendly... More

I have been eating at this restaurant for nearly 30 years. It is a seasonal restaurant, open only in summer. Lots of things you need to know before you visit: They don't take credit cards. Bring cash. It's BYOB. People show up with coolers. Make a reservation. The food is consistently excellent, On my most recent visit, this past week,... More

Highly recommend it. Love the byob element and the diverse menu. Ideal for a couple, but if you are a family with young kids I would look elsewhere.
