Pan Asian Cuisine & Pacific Rim Cuisine

For our starters we ordered the soup of the day which was Thai Tomato, the Philippine Lumpia, and the Goat Cheese Rangoon. For the main course we ordered Philippine Inihaw Beefsteak, Pad Thai, Maguro Tempura, and Philippine Adobe. Reservations are recommended and the restaurant is byob. We... read more

This is a short seasonal restaurant. This means the food has to be good, service efficient, and prices fair. It's not easy to do. For those that are open to trying something new, this is the place. Just because the sign says"Asian cuisine", doesn't mean it's Chinese American (same old same old General Gao, pupu platters etc). The menu picks... More

Have always heard good things about East of Suez and put it on my list of things to do this summer since they are a seasonal establishment. From the street, East of Suez is easy to drive by without a second glance. In the summertime, however, there is a olorful painted sogn out front which will catch your eye. Once... More

East of Suez is an experience! The Pacific Rim food is fun and interesting but not great… the place is reminiscent of a quonset hut in Burma (no a/c and only open in the summer, so pick your night carefully). The wait staff borders on brusque, if not rude, but they are efficient… I cannot truly explain why we like... More

East of Suez has been our "go to" dining spot for years and we've always enjoyed the food, the service, the location.....everything. On previous visits, we've thoroughly enjoyed every bite of food; sometimes spicy, sometimes crunchy, but always, always an excellent experience. There's usually a very wide variety of choices with daily specials to choose from as well. Two of... More

My wife and I had dinner here about 8 or 9 years ago and had a very nice time. I'm on the way home from the lake with the kids and thought we would have dinner. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, nice for a summer's night. The problem was that the food was just not quite there. It... More

We went to this restaurant because of the good reviews we all read here in Trip Advisor and yelp, as well as a travel book. The ambience is charming and rustic, and we were looking forward to a great dinner as we were and a little tired from visiting the beautiful White Mountains. We ordered a tuna tiradito and Philippine... More

The food here is very gd. they serve Philippine, Korean, etc fare. My husband and I both had beef dishes that were excellent. The service for my table was slow, but the other servers were moving faster. Plan on 1 1/2 to 2 hours if you want an appetizer , meal, and a coffee. FYI you can BYOB. Call ahead... More

My family of 10 recently dined on the porch of this restaurant and found it to be a very attractive spot as the rain poured down outside. Two of our party had spent 3+ years living in the Philippines and traveling throughout Asia so particularly enjoyed the Philippine food. What some may have considered slow service, we considered very appropriate... More

Very interesting menu, very good food and the BYOB really kept the price reasonable. Felt like could have been in an Asian country!
