Something different!

This place has been here forever, and we have heard about people going there and raving about it for years, but this was our first visit. So our friends made reservations for 5:45, saying that if you don't go early they sometimes are out of their daily specials. My first impression was that the... read more

As we approached this interesting restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised on how it transported us to the Asian rim. Our waitstaff was informative and very pleasant answering our questions. Most of us had something different for dinner and we all really enjoyed the entrees. I would definitely go back again

Food good, price a little high. Great atmosphere, would not recommend on a very hot day ( no air conditioning).

What a find in seemingly rural New Hampshire! I know that Wolfeboro is reasonably upscale, but never expected such a great dinner. Interesting decor, we had a great table by the window, fun staff in (my favorite) Hawaiian shirts. Our server was a little “green”, but a nice kid, very attentive. Interesting, innovative “eastern” menu, with Pad Thai and other... More

Unfortunately I cannot give a review on the food because we never got any. We waited forty minutes and no one ever came to take our order! We told the person who poured our water that we were ready to order after having sat there for twenty minutes, but after another twenty minutes and still no one came. At that... More

This is a short seasonal restaurant. This means the food has to be good, service efficient, and prices fair. It's not easy to do. For those that are open to trying something new, this is the place. Just because the sign says"Asian cuisine", doesn't mean it's Chinese American (same old same old General Gao, pupu platters etc). The menu picks... More

Have always heard good things about East of Suez and put it on my list of things to do this summer since they are a seasonal establishment. From the street, East of Suez is easy to drive by without a second glance. In the summertime, however, there is a olorful painted sogn out front which will catch your eye. Once... More

For our starters we ordered the soup of the day which was Thai Tomato, the Philippine Lumpia, and the Goat Cheese Rangoon. For the main course we ordered Philippine Inihaw Beefsteak, Pad Thai, Maguro Tempura, and Philippine Adobe. Reservations are recommended and the restaurant is byob. We started with salad. It was fresh. Our appetizers were delicious. However, we are... More

East of Suez is an experience! The Pacific Rim food is fun and interesting but not great… the place is reminiscent of a quonset hut in Burma (no a/c and only open in the summer, so pick your night carefully). The wait staff borders on brusque, if not rude, but they are efficient… I cannot truly explain why we like... More

East of Suez has been our "go to" dining spot for years and we've always enjoyed the food, the service, the location.....everything. On previous visits, we've thoroughly enjoyed every bite of food; sometimes spicy, sometimes crunchy, but always, always an excellent experience. There's usually a very wide variety of choices with daily specials to choose from as well. Two of... More
