Went here for a late supper -- they actually kept the place open a little later for us! Great fried seafood (we had a clam roll), complemented by fresh-cut fries and perfectly battered onion rings. (Oh, and house-made slaw, too.) Save room for dessert -- the cookie sundae is well worth the caloric splurge. Service is beyond attentive. We can't... More

Casual spot with really good extra thin onion rings, shakes and of course, lobster roll! Service was good and business was brisk for a weekday prior to the busy season starting.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised about our dining experience here. The service and food were both excellent. My wife was even able to have a reasonably-priced lobster roll on gluten-free bread which is a rarity. I had the veggie burger and it was tasty as well. Finished up with sharing maple walnut ice cream which was quite memorable.... More

Took our Texas relatives to Morrissey's for lunch and had a wonderful experience. Our server was efficient and personable and the quality of the food was great. We ordered a lobster roll, haddock sandwich, Prime Rib French Dip (that was mine - yum!!) and lobster/crabmeat patty sandwich. Even the sides were super. The onion rings were amazing, BBQ fries passed... More

Dropped by for a late lunch while out for a little drive around enjoying the sunny spring day. Waitress, Courtney, was a delight: fun, funny, helpful, patient and very accommodating. The menu was quite extensive and given we were hungry, EVERYTHING looked good. Of course we over-ordered... but we are still enjoying the take-home leftovers, so it's all good! Ambience/décor:... Great Waters Music Festival has been using Morrissey's Front Porch almost exclusively for performers meals the past three years. We sometimes call on a (very busy) Friday night with 10-15 individual orders and the service has always been fantastic! The person taking the order is always pleasant and professional and the performers ALWAYS let us know how great the food... More

Can't get the butternut squash out of my mind, it was the highlight of 3 days of dining out for me. I had the terriyaki steak tips and they were great. The fried clams were tasty, but I like a clam with more of a belly. The pie was great and there were many ice cream flavors to choose from.... More

We stopped by this restaurant on a drive around the lake. The waitress was very friendly and we were sat at a nice table with a view out the back garden. I had green cob salad and my wife had French onion soup. Both were really nice. We then had a ice cream sundae each. Both were great. The interior... More

Remembering a dish from last year, we returned. I ordered the same Seafood medley with Creme Rosa over linguini. ICK. watery tasteless creme rosa over limp linguini that was way past al dente--closer to al gummy---and the seafood was not seasoned, scallops like rubber, lobster stringy and tough, shrimp and crab the same. This dish had obviously been microwaved to... More

I don't say this lightly: in this unpretentious little place my wife and I had the absolute best lobster bisque and haddock stew we've ever eaten - and, being in our 60s, we've eaten plenty of seafood chowders. We stopped in for a quick lunch on our way home from vacation, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Nothing fancy: wooden booths,... More
