Family time with Grandson's family

We arrived just in time for a table for 6. Kelsey our waitress quickly appeared and took our drink order. Throughout the night she had a great attitude and was a pleasure to have waiting on us. So eating here tonight was quite an adventure, through no fault of the restaurant. The menu looks great and we were so excited to eat lobster, turkey and broasted chicken. Unfortunately there was a severe storm in the area and the power went off in the restaurant just after we ordered our food. Those that ordered soup and salad with... More

Quintessential Northern New England 'take out place' with dining within -- this one in upscale Wolfeboro, NH, the oldest Summer Resort in the U.S., with the Romneys and the Marriotts with waterfront cottages. The food is good, American fare. Burgers, sandwiches, pulled pork, soups, pasta. Also as is de rigueur in places like this -- lots of ice cream and... More

My adult daughter and I stopped in for an early dinner at Morrisey's. Having had a pretty good lunch there last summer, I suggested this restaurant as we drove through Wolfeboro. I ordered the Naked Lobster Roll with a side of onion rings and a side salad. The lobster meat was tasty, but carefully counted out -2 small claws, one... More

We ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and onion rings and turkey with mashed potatoes and broccoli and carrots. We were served two rolls which were warm and fresh. The turkey was a little dry. It was not accompanied by gravy. The meatloaf was good. The onion rings, broccoli and carrots were also good. The mashed potatoes were okay. We... More

I have been visiting this restaurant for close to 50 years. Has a casual New England feel and I must say the menu has gotten a lot better than 50 years ago and the food quality has as well. Reasonable prices and quality food and service.

I enjoyed this restaurant years ago as a teen, when it was called Bailey's. Very similar interior. Menu is somewhat similar, though has evolved quite a bit. Food is pretty good. One of the better spots in Wolfeboro.

The crab cakes were out of this world delicious! The clam chowder was listed "first place winner" and I can see why. The service was also lovely.

I have visited Morrissey's several times. And every time the food is fantastic, and the service is good, depending on the waitress you get. They have daily specials and senior specials. The portion sizes are very good. My favorite things are the Turkey Club and the Fish and Chips! And they have an excellent dessert menu!!
