Wonderful broasted chicken and a fun ambience

We came to Morrissey's because we were attending a concert in Wolfeboro. We happened upon Morrissey's through another website and what a wonderful gem it is. I was in the mood for a big salad and the Cobb was perfect...just the way I wanted it. My husband had browsed chicken which was juicy and... read more

We drove by and thought the place looked like an ice cream and sandwich stand, but the lobster on their sign and the number of cars in the parking lot had us curious enough to give it a try - and so glad we did. It took 1/2 an hour to get a booth, but the wait was worth it.... More

We did take out. Food done on time and was excellent. Menu is classic Italian. Had excellent Gluten free pizza as well. While we didn't eat in, it has a great atmosphere.

We've tried this place several times and it keeps coming back to just ok. The ice cream is great. The dinners are a bit dated...does that make sense? Feel like the food could use some "zing" and not be so plain. Was disappointed with the Cobb salad - it's prime time for local produce and the lettuce was iceberg (not... More

We arrived just in time for a table for 6. Kelsey our waitress quickly appeared and took our drink order. Throughout the night she had a great attitude and was a pleasure to have waiting on us. The clam chowder was awesome. All meals were well prepared and of good proportion. We have not visited here in some time but... More

So eating here tonight was quite an adventure, through no fault of the restaurant. The menu looks great and we were so excited to eat lobster, turkey and broasted chicken. Unfortunately there was a severe storm in the area and the power went off in the restaurant just after we ordered our food. Those that ordered soup and salad with... More

Quintessential Northern New England 'take out place' with dining within -- this one in upscale Wolfeboro, NH, the oldest Summer Resort in the U.S., with the Romneys and the Marriotts with waterfront cottages. The food is good, American fare. Burgers, sandwiches, pulled pork, soups, pasta. Also as is de rigueur in places like this -- lots of ice cream and... More

My adult daughter and I stopped in for an early dinner at Morrisey's. Having had a pretty good lunch there last summer, I suggested this restaurant as we drove through Wolfeboro. I ordered the Naked Lobster Roll with a side of onion rings and a side salad. The lobster meat was tasty, but carefully counted out -2 small claws, one... More

We ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and onion rings and turkey with mashed potatoes and broccoli and carrots. We were served two rolls which were warm and fresh. The turkey was a little dry. It was not accompanied by gravy. The meatloaf was good. The onion rings, broccoli and carrots were also good. The mashed potatoes were okay. We... More
