yum-yum food

If you like great clam chowder and friendly atmosphere you should not miss this restaurant. It does not matter what you order, its all great but --do not forget- leave room for the best ice cream ever.

What makes Morrisey's stand out from the other restaurants in Wolfeboro is the list of different daily specials that they consistently carry on the menu and you can count on enjoying when you are in the mood. The specials are priced so attractively that going out to eat there can be a regular habit without needing to budget for it.... More

OK -- so we needed to eat somewhere. We were starving after enjoying the autumn leaves during the day and then heading for Concord on a very very dark and rainy night. We found this place on TripAdvisor ... and it seemed like a good solid place to eat. As it turns out -- I doubt you can go wrong... More

A family restaurant in a true sense, the Front Porch offers seating and take out, with a varied menu. They serve American fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Worth note: Try their assorted Eggs Benedict. Great staff and friendly local clientele.

We have been meaning to try Morrissey's for quite a while and finally had the opportunity. Not fancy -- but a very good meal (those in our party who had seafood were especially happy), great service, and the prices were quite reasonable. We were there close to closing time, it had apparently been a very tough night, and our waitress... More

My husband and I had both lunch and dinner at Morrissey's and the food was not fancy but it was good old time food. The onion rings were the best we've had in years.

My husband and I were hungry while driving through Wolfeboro, and we were very happy with our lunch at Morrissey's Front Porch. I got the last pastrami and swiss on marbled pumpernickle for the day. The meat was so lean and grilled to perfection. My husband's hamburger was also well prepared, and both sandwiches had a choice of side dishes.... More

I loved the atmosphere - large wooden rooms with booths. Very waterfront/rustic feel (even though it's not right next to the water). The food was yummy, and the menu was large. The staff was nice and knowledgeable. It's not the best seafood place I've been to, but it was still delicious and we had a nice experience.
