OK -- so we needed to eat somewhere. We were starving after enjoying the autumn leaves during the day and then heading for Concord on a very very dark and rainy night. We found this place on TripAdvisor ... and it seemed like a good solid place to eat. As it turns out -- I doubt you can go wrong... More

A family restaurant in a true sense, the Front Porch offers seating and take out, with a varied menu. They serve American fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Worth note: Try their assorted Eggs Benedict. Great staff and friendly local clientele.

We have been meaning to try Morrissey's for quite a while and finally had the opportunity. Not fancy -- but a very good meal (those in our party who had seafood were especially happy), great service, and the prices were quite reasonable. We were there close to closing time, it had apparently been a very tough night, and our waitress... More

My husband and I had both lunch and dinner at Morrissey's and the food was not fancy but it was good old time food. The onion rings were the best we've had in years.

My husband and I were hungry while driving through Wolfeboro, and we were very happy with our lunch at Morrissey's Front Porch. I got the last pastrami and swiss on marbled pumpernickle for the day. The meat was so lean and grilled to perfection. My husband's hamburger was also well prepared, and both sandwiches had a choice of side dishes.... More

I loved the atmosphere - large wooden rooms with booths. Very waterfront/rustic feel (even though it's not right next to the water). The food was yummy, and the menu was large. The staff was nice and knowledgeable. It's not the best seafood place I've been to, but it was still delicious and we had a nice experience.

Morrissey’s Front Porch is a Wolfeboro and Lakes Region institution with a long history of serving quality food and ice cream at family-friendly prices. Morrissey’s serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a Kid’s Menu. Beyond the anticipated lobster rolls, burgers, and fries, menu items of note are fresh seafood, live lobsters, fresh turkey dinners, haddock, lobster mac & cheese,... More

Walk into this wood-paneled restaurant and be greeted by super friendly staff. The food is predictable but very good - lobster rolls, fries and burgers.

My family has been visiting this restaurant for nearly 50 years. It is an institution, but mostly from its prior life as a restaurant. While the wait staff is always very pleasant, food delivery is slow and the quality is good, but not close to great. The hostess' attitude leaves much to be desired and her welcome (or lack thereof)... More
