I loved the atmosphere - large wooden rooms with booths. Very waterfront/rustic feel (even though it's not right next to the water). The food was yummy, and the menu was large. The staff was nice and knowledgeable. It's not the best seafood place I've been to, but it was still delicious and we had a nice experience.

Morrissey’s Front Porch is a Wolfeboro and Lakes Region institution with a long history of serving quality food and ice cream at family-friendly prices. Morrissey’s serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a Kid’s Menu. Beyond the anticipated lobster rolls, burgers, and fries, menu items of note are fresh seafood, live lobsters, fresh turkey dinners, haddock, lobster mac & cheese,... More

Walk into this wood-paneled restaurant and be greeted by super friendly staff. The food is predictable but very good - lobster rolls, fries and burgers.

My family has been visiting this restaurant for nearly 50 years. It is an institution, but mostly from its prior life as a restaurant. While the wait staff is always very pleasant, food delivery is slow and the quality is good, but not close to great. The hostess' attitude leaves much to be desired and her welcome (or lack thereof)... More

This place works for several reasons: it is away from the hustle of center Wolfeboro, has plenty of parking, and has a classic menu. The prices are good and the service is great. Kids' options include HUGE ice creams, too. Solid!

Went here for a late supper -- they actually kept the place open a little later for us! Great fried seafood (we had a clam roll), complemented by fresh-cut fries and perfectly battered onion rings. (Oh, and house-made slaw, too.) Save room for dessert -- the cookie sundae is well worth the caloric splurge. Service is beyond attentive. We can't... More

Casual spot with really good extra thin onion rings, shakes and of course, lobster roll! Service was good and business was brisk for a weekday prior to the busy season starting.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised about our dining experience here. The service and food were both excellent. My wife was even able to have a reasonably-priced lobster roll on gluten-free bread which is a rarity. I had the veggie burger and it was tasty as well. Finished up with sharing maple walnut ice cream which was quite memorable.... More

Took our Texas relatives to Morrissey's for lunch and had a wonderful experience. Our server was efficient and personable and the quality of the food was great. We ordered a lobster roll, haddock sandwich, Prime Rib French Dip (that was mine - yum!!) and lobster/crabmeat patty sandwich. Even the sides were super. The onion rings were amazing, BBQ fries passed... More

Dropped by for a late lunch while out for a little drive around enjoying the sunny spring day. Waitress, Courtney, was a delight: fun, funny, helpful, patient and very accommodating. The menu was quite extensive and given we were hungry, EVERYTHING looked good. Of course we over-ordered... but we are still enjoying the take-home leftovers, so it's all good! Ambience/décor:...
