Nice restaurant by the water

We were here recently with friends, and were quite impressed. The seating area is kind of small, and we ended up waiting nearly an hour, but the food was delicious, and until the mosquitos drove us inside, it was nice to sit outside and dine.

Simple layout of restaurant. Food was good but straightforward and basic. Service and help were friendly and helpful. Prices a little firm for what it is but within reason.

I was a little leery of trying this place after reading the reviews of bad service and mediocre food. However, we were drawn to the idea of sitting waterside on a patio that would allow our pup so decided to give it a try for dinner. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The patio was empty because it had... More

We started with soups and salads which were excellent. next, we ordered the salmon, fisherman's platter, salmon burger, and scallops which we requested broiled. Everyone agreed that the food was marvelous. It was very relaxing sitting outside. We brought our Boston Terrier who also enjoyed some of the salmon. We will definitely be back soon. Our server was very attentive.

open in summer season only - caters mainly to wealthy locals and tourists - fresh seafood decently prepared but there are a few drawbacks. Waitstaff is sullen, snotty, slow and lazy. (food often arrives cold) Drinks are weak and pricey. Location is lovely but I would rather buy some local seafood and serve it at home...

Wait staff very slow and let me just tell you why. 1. Outside smoking. 2. Sitting on clean tables conversing with other wait staff. 3. makeup being applied at a work station where full pitchers of water rested. Face powder being put on with a brush. Please put your makeup on in the ladies room. Very disgusting. 4. Bar keep... More

we used to love going here for dinner every year but we just can't take the wait any longer. I don't know any other restaurant that doesn't allow large parties to make a reservation and they really aren't very nice about it either. Too bad because it is a really cute place. And the food is great but expensive. Last... More

Have recently enjoy dinner here with friends and have been very happy with the service and quality of the food. Several years back, I had a bad experience and had not returned until recently. It would seem they have stepped up their game, and I will return. The salmon I have had on all three occasions was exceptional. My spouse... More

My husband had the calamari and the scallops and he said it was one of the best seafood meals he's had in a long time.

The crab cakes here are the best in the area. They're also a great buy. My husband and I each order a crab cake from the appetizer menu, then share a side of fries. Everything is delicious and the portions are ample. The place also has a great view of Back Bay. Naturally it's nicest in the heart of summer... More
