We made a last minute decision to take out from here and we were very pleasantly surprised...the food was amazing!! We got the fish tacos and fried fish sandwich. Both were delicious! And when we picked up the food we saw that the restaurant has outdoor waterside seating...next time we'll eat in house.

Four of us ordered two lobsters, the ribeye w/fries, tuna and wedge salads. Ordered clams and onion rings as starters. Service was prompt, extremely professionals staff. We sat outside next to the dock, the view was outstanding although as sun set the mosquitoes swarmed. The food was good. 2 lb lobster was $42.00. Very nice and active bar, seemed like... More

We sat on the deck and had a lovely meal with a great view! Choices were extensive, waitresses attentive and very friendly, all in all a great place to spend an evening.....

Very disappointed. We went there about 4 years ago and had a wonderful dinner. The owner has decided to increase his prices but not improve the quality of the food. $42 for a 2 pound lobster is very sporty. We were a group of 8 and no one had a really good meal. Not sure what the problem is. Perhaps... More

The place was ok, but not worth the money. We had 5 people for lunch with no alcoholic beverages and our lunch came to $140. We shared two appetizers. The food was average to poor. The fries were unedible. The lobster rolls were average. The service was great. In summary, too many other places to eat in town. Save the... More

We often visit the Wolfe Trap throughout the summer. This was our first visit this year. We only come by boat so it can be a hike to get there in the heat, but alas they have solved this problem. They now have dock side pick up from the depot. You just have to call and ask them to meet... More

Ordered a fish taco and mussels. For starters a salad with blue cheese dressing. The Cannonball Merlot was reasonable by the glass and had a nice bouquet. The mussels were excellent. The swordfish tacos were delicious. My only comment is that there could have been more avocado. Out waitress, Courtney, was charming and very attentive.

Not located in town but on the back bay. We ate outside looking at the water. Lobster roll and scallops were outstanding

My mouth is watering as I'm thinking about this place. Best lobster rolls around!! We wait all year to get back up to the lake for these things! Kids love it here. Fun to get to by boat. Super convenient dock for their customers. Friendly staff. Always a fun time!

A friend told us the Wolfettrap had the best lobster rolls in New England. We drove from Maine thru New Hampshire to confirm her recommendation. She was right! The restaurant, the waitress, and the food was GREAT.
