5 star mexican delight

If you like Mexican food do not miss this eatery. Friendly staff super Mexican food ( better than in Mexico). Great restaurant. They even have guacamole made by servers at your table. The staff treats you as if you are royalty. Hope you enjoy this restaurant as much as I do

We have eaten here before and it was ok. Stopped in for lunch with my husband and the food was horrible. My soup was unpalatable because of salt. The waitress was obnoxious. My husband was deciding which dish to have and I said that one of the sauces was a little sweet. The waitress said "No it isn't". I responded... More

I came from Southern California where great Mexican restaurants are a dime a dozen. Never bothered to learn to cook the cuisine. No need. Once we moved back East, out of necessity, I had to learn. Especially for my five children. This place is a disaster: meat mixture tastes like dog food, taco shells taste like they came out of... More

We've visited El Centenario a few times since my last review and have experienced a drastic decline in the food quality. Last night, our food was cold, not prepared as per the menu description and one of the sides was visibly burned. Yet, the plates were served to us and returned almost 100% uneaten and no one asked if there... More

Just stopped in to have lunch. I don't know who has rated this restaurant but it's completely overated! Ordered the chicken quesidilla. Was all cheese but maybe a few specks of chicken. Staff was nice but food was terrible. Restaurant and Bathrooms were filthy!! Drinks were overpriced! Sorry but I wont be back!

This most recent trip was our 2nd time to the restaurant. Our first time was a few years ago, and we couldn't completely remember the experience. Reservations are strongly recommended as the place is fairly small. Table side guacamole is a must order for an App. Chicken/Steak fajitas was excellent. My wife had chicken enchiladas which were pretty good. The... More

We frequent this restaurant and the food is very good. I have my favorites, but if you can luck out with Ribs night, you will not be disappointed. They have a great Chicken Dish with Corn that is out of this world. Service can be slow, but it is a small place so reservations during summer months a must.

Last weekend we had a great Mexican dinner at El Centenario. We were a family of three and we each had an appetizer , an entree and deset and all of it was delicious. Definetely a hidden gem on a side street. It is a small restaurant, so make sure you have a reservation.

I really enjoyed the food but thought the margarita was poorly done. Knowing that I make really good margaritas my wife encouraged me to mention how to make a great margarita to the bartender. I guess being a pretty girl working a summer job while in college makes one too cool to take advice. Bottom line. A crabby bartender and... More
