I do hope to go back and have lunch at this beautiful restaurant in a small quiet town. We went to buy some of their chocolates. When we were there they were in the middle of remodeling the chocolate shop to make the restaurant and shop two separate entities. Because of this it wasn't very big but the chocolates were... More

Everyone in the area recommended Burdicks and right they way, it truly lived up to its expectations. A little bit of France in the US. I was amused when the server said Frite rather than Fries. Pleasantly surprised to know that Bastille Day is celebrated with a passion. Keep up the excellent food and service!

We very much enjoy dining at Burdick's. Jacob and other wait staff are very pleasant and the ambiance conducive to culinary enjoyment. The fish and seafood are usually very good; however, on our last visit I sent back my dorado as it was tasty, but cold. The cold tomato-onion garnish turned the fish cold. We'll return, but are always anxious... More

Over the years, we've eaten many meals at Burdick's, and occasionally its apparent that the management has taken a day away, and no one is paying close attention to production in the kitchen. Unfortunately, our lunch yesterday was one of those times. I ordered the beet, walnut and blue cheese salad, and as I ate the salad, I noticed that... More

I LOVE Burdicks. It's not inexpensive so we usually go for lunch, but the food and service have been exceptional anytime we've gone. The menu is creative without being trendy and the ingredients are always fresh. The mussels are delicious, but so is the corned beef hash with poached egg--perfect for a fall Sunday brunch. I usually make a reservation... More

We ate brunch here today and it was amazing as usual. The wait staff is always very friendly. The food was everything we expected, as we have eaten here before and enjoyed it very much. We would highly recomend Burdicks to anyone that is looking for a great culinary experience. The chocolate is to die for!

This is worthy of trip from anywhere nearby. The service, menu, and food was as good as you can expect from any "big city" like Boston or New York. And to complement the meal a lovely wine list! Yes, the prices were a tad high but the quality was exceptional.

Who would have thought that you could find a gourmet restaurant in a small New Hampshire town like Walpole? We had a really nice dinner there for my daughter's birthday. The meals were excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. The prices are a little high but otherwise it was an excellent experience. We have visited the Cafe attached... More

Friendly and Courteous Staff and that's just for starters. My wife and I were in Bellows Falls VT. looking for a place to dine. We looked on TripAdvisor and found this place. We followed the GPS and still felt we were getting lost. Now we get there and it's 8:50pm. We walked in and asked what time they stop serving.... More

Four of us went to lunch last weekend at Burdick's in Walpole, NH. This was our 3rd visit and the first two had been excellent, although expensive. Not so this time. Although we were seated promptly, things went downhill from there. First, the price for drinks, which are not posted for the most part, were astronomical. NYC is cheaper! Then,... More
