The Tilt'n Diner is a fun place to eat, with great food reasonably priced. It's very convenient to I-93 (either north or south) at Exit 20 (Tilton). The ambience is straight out of the movie, "American Graffiti," and the you'll find all your favorite diner classics on the menu. Don't plan on much conversation while you eat. The "oldies" music... We've been to the Tilton Diner several times for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food is typically delicious, plentiful and there is a great menu. For dinner, we've had awesome burgers, meatloaf, sandwiches and the turkey dinner. Never any complaints until now. The last time we went, my husband's burger was thin and dry. His bun, which was half the thickness... More

breakfast took half an hour to show up and when it did, it was cold. although I was offered a free replacement, I chose to give my business to Pauli's, just down the road, and got a very good, HOT meal.

For about 7 years we ate here about 2 times a month as we traveled with our son and his hockey team and that travel ended 5 years ago, bummer :( They are located almost 75 miles from our home but today we were lucky enough to be passing by on our way to a wedding in northern New Hampshire.... More

Great decor and good ole comfort food. Our waitress was horrible but the food and prices allowed us to over look it. Small place, really busy and just cool to look around.

On our way home from a day at Clark's Trading Post we stopped here for dinner. Food was really good and the extensive menu with good old fashioned diner options has something for everyone. Retro '50's & '60's music and decor completes the experience. It's one of the few places left that serves a fountain soda vanilla Coke!

Could have been a bad day. They had no running water. Used buckets to flush the toilets. Kids wanted to eat here so we did. Service was slow & food was mediocre. We can say we've been there.

If you don't have cranky hungry kids, then waiting for a table here does not disappoint. Traditional diner food, burgers and shakes are on the menu and to kick off or wrap up a day of shopping at the outlets is worth a visit!

From the crowd on a Tuesday night, it was extremely popular with the locals. Food was good and reasonable!

Lots of great things to say about the Tilt'n. We try to stop here for dinner every time we go up skiing or hiking. The menu is large, lots of options beyond the standard diner items. Our kids still stick with the grill cheese. Great fries. Lots of old stuff on the walls to keep your eyes entertained. Wait staff... More
