Yes it is loud and kitschy, a fun iconic place of yesterday. They do not claim to be a five star restaurant. As far as waiting goes, you can call ahead one hour before arrival time and they put you on their waiting list. We called when we were 30 minutes away and had to wait about fifteen minutes before... Breakfast was good but nothing I would rave about. We were staying at Russell Pond Campground and called ahead for a table. Waited 10min and sat down. Waiter was not that attentive and actually forgot our extra bacon and potato pancakes. Had to remind him twice. Not sure what the fuss is all about with the pancakes they are small... More

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Littleton based on good reviews. Who would have expected a 30 minute wait mid week at 10:30am? Well, they told us it would be 1hr so we were happy with 30 minutes. There are no other options so we were stuck anyway! The tables are very crowded and the chairs are... More

We ate here on the Sunday morning of the Labor Day weekend and I'm glad we did - it's kitchy and loud and fun and perfect for having a good time with friends. Our hotel recommended we make a reservation early in the morning, so we did - the reservation did not guarantee you a table at a specific time,... More

Polly's is a once year experience for our whole family when visiting in New Hampshire. It has it all...a quaint atmosphere, a great view of the mountains, friendly, polite employes and delicious pancakes. Best of all, pancakes can be served sampler style enabling you to have 6 smaller pancakes of assorted variety. My favorite is a cornmeal blueberry! When you... More

Call ahead if you're coming Monday-Friday...we didn't know that, and were warned upon arrival that couples often have to share a table, and the wait would be 39-40 minutes. Hmmmm. Not a great start. Eventually we were seated at our own table. Our server Shannon was friendly, offering pancake recommendations when asked by my husband. The bacon and sausage were... More

We were there on a weekday at lunch time, so we avoided the weekend crowds. Our server was fantastic--she was patient with our big group and attentive to the needs of our kids. The pancakes were all amazing, and the bacon maple biscuits were one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. Looking forward to seeing the renovation next year.

Polly's has been around for many years and this visit was as wonderful as ever. The rustic, family owned restaurant and bakery has a huge following with good reason. They serve a variety of unusual pancakes such as buckwheat, oatmeal, whole wheat, cornmeal and plain along with the usual fare of sausage and bacon. You can also add walnuts, blueberries... More

There is a lot to do in the New Hampshire White Mountains. Recently I had the good fortune to be introduced to Polly's Pancake Parlor. 70+ years old - absolutely worth a breakfast or lunch stop! We are going to make it a ritual for all our trips to this area.

We happened to drive by on our way back from Bethlehem to NJ. My wife likes buckwheat pancakes but I just had eggs and hash. Great old place that has been a fixture here since the 30's. Eat here!
