"Tourist Friendly"

you cannot go wrong at Browns. we locals frequent Browns during the off season to avoid the long lines and waiting time. That's not to say it isn't a great place to go. To us its by far one of the best "eat in the rough" seafood places in the resort area of Salisbury Ma, Hampton Beach NH and... read more

Fo sweet succulent lobster & seafood this is the place! Service is fairly fast (order at the window & u pick up & carry). Dine inside picnic style tables or outside on the deck for a nice view. The portions are great for the price, & prices are reasonable. Always clean dining area & bathrooms- my family frequents Browns often... More

What more can I say? Bring your friends, bring your appetite and bring a cooler of booze and have good times. Place has been around since 1950 and while I was born in 1976 and never ate seafood until 1997 I have to say its one of the best places around. Great food, great atmosphere, great family run business. Plenty... More

Great food with friendly atmosphere Pick your own lobster The guys will fix it up right then. They had a slight delay in bringing out lobster but insisted on giving us a gift certificate. Super nice! Fried shrimp were great also.

While visiting Hampton Beach, we decided to drop by Brown's for some seafood. Once inside, you will see that this place is crowded and noone really knows where to go. After sitting in one line for 20 minutes and closer to the registers, you will eventually see there are separate lines for steamers, lobster, and everything else. The only menus... More

Approximately 20 years, I haven't stepped foot into this building. Last time I came it was a totally off meal. I used to come for Steamers all the time...fried seafood too. But, one bad experience and stopped coming. Well, here I was again entering through the doors not sure what to expect. Meeting family/friends after a local fundraising event. My... More

This is a very popular, super casual atmosphere. Order your food, find a picnic table indoors or out, and wait for your number to be called. We bring a tablecloth, candles, and a cooler with wine and beer - keeps the seafood dinner affordable. The lobster is always awesome, steamers are great, fried food too. TIP: If you are ordering... My favorite place to get lobster!!! The place to go in a sundress and flip flops after a day at the beach. I have been stopping here for years and have never been disappointed! I love sitting outside on the deck!

Oh my gosh - I've entered the Browns/Markeys Twilight Zone! Didn't even know what this was until early this year - a lobster fest competition that has been going on for decades. Went to Markeys in July 2014. Got an inkling of the debate. In December 2014, obviously had to go to Browns to compare (though you will SOON SEE... More
