Lobster

Crowed was not to bad. Picked a 3:00 pm time to drop in. Relatively fast service for the number of orders. Note cash only. BYOB. No sodas or juices allowed to be brought in

I have been going to Brown's for over 50 years, every time I am back in the area which is not often enough. It is THE best lobster house in New England, and that is a high bar. I once met a person from Maine at a business meeting and said I knew the best place for lobster in New... More

We recently heard about this restaurant on a local travel program and decided it would be worth the drive. This was a summer Saturday and we arrived around 1:30, there were about ten people in line in front of us to order lobster (a separate line from the fried entrees) but the line moved quickly. We waited about 15 minutes... More

FINALLY went to Brown's after living in the area for a few years and being told by well intentioned friends that we "have" to go. VERY overpriced...very hot (no ac). VERY slow uninterested staff of teens working in the kitchen. Weird atmosphere, trashy clientele. Between waiting in line to order and waiting for the food, waited a total of 40... More

No matter how full the parking lot is, you still get fast service at Brown's. I have been going here for seafood since I was a kid and it is still delicious! Since I no longer live in the New England area, when I go back to visit, I always make a stop at Brown's. The seafood is fresh and... More

This place and markeys across the street are very much identical to ea other...bit pricy on some seafood items but menu offers great variety and range of prices

Holy sand in the steamers Batman! Not only does their ordering system ride the short bus to school, but I had more sand in my teeth after my steamers than I did in my shorts after a day at the beach. NEVER going back. PS, Way over priced.

I tried the backed lobster and my wife ate the baked haddock. My dish was excellent but the haddock was awesome! I will definitely go back to this place to eat seafood.

Wow!! What a great experience! I've heard so much about Browns and decided to stop by. The parking lot was packed and the line was long but it was so worth the wait. The food is fantastic, good sized portions and fair prices. Defiantly will be returning!
