The good old saloon

When Master McGrath's started out it was called The Saloon. That was a long time ago. Now, even though the clientele has changed (some say for the better) the food and ambiance is much the same as it was...excellent! There are two sections. Really like this place. The decor is a throw back. But who cares when you can have delicious food and good drinks at a very reasonable price. Staff is fabulous. Really make you feel comfortable.

This place is very old. The service is awful and the decor id 40 years old if it is a day. If you want to go to the bar for watered down drinks then expect them to be overpriced as well.

We enjoyed Master McGraths....but it is VERY dark. Trying to see your food is tough. The Salad bar is very fresh, and we had the ribs and they were deli-sh! If you would like to try something different this is your place.

Very dark inside but food and prices are decent. There is a salad bar and an actual bar that seems to do better than the restaurant.

We were heading toward I-95 looking for a place to get breakfast and Master McGrath's came up. They have breakfast on the weekends, the service was OK and the food was pretty good, if anything there was too much cheese in my omelet.

My wife and I went to Master McGrath's last night based on previous reviews. We were severely disappointed. The restaurant is dated and looks like it could use a good cleaning. I had the evening special of ribs and a baked potato. The potato was over cookedand dry. This tuned out to be a good thing as the ribs were... More

I had the 10 oz filet mignon for 19.99. The filet was great - drinks are very reasonably priced - the menu is full of pub favorites at affordable prices. Definitely a no frills restaurant, but it's great. I will be back.

Cozy, warm and comfortable environment. Engaging knowledgeable staff and a large menu from steak to seafood. The beer is good too. One of our favourite servers has worked here for 40 years. The property also has commercial offices , gas bar and motel across the street. Ideal stop over just before entering 475 South. Also a local favourite.
