Thank goodness for their billboard on Route 16 and the lobster rolls!

We stopped here after seeing their billboard on Route 16, when returning to Boston from the White Mountains. It's only about 5 minutes from the main road. We ordered the HOT lobster roll, BLT and Tuna Sub. All were good, but wow, the lobster roll was great. It's not inexpensive (about $17) - but... read more

Have been to this pub for decades- love their roast beef and BBQ sandwich. Simple, straightforward food for very reasonable prices. A favorite of locals- a place you should go if you camp on the lake during the summer just to say you've hit the local spot, and you should buy a tee shirt while you're there- they are so... More

Went last night specifically to have the lobster roll to see if it lived up to the title of "#1 in NH" two years in a row. It does. This lobster roll is made with a ton of lobster meat and very little mayo. So little, I wasn't even sure there was any in there! Just enough to hold the... More

Simple food and simple dining in a casual environment. Had the meatloaf special which was delicious. Beer and wine only

They have great "homestyle"daily specials, their subs are great and filling, pizza good (just be aware they are a little small, great crust), good burgers. Can't beat the price of a pitcher of PBR! I don't know why they only have lobster rolls in the summer - lobster is a cold weather/water crustacean and the prices are great right now.... More

My family and I have only ordered fom the menu as take out, but the food is great and the servcie is great as well. You can order all the items off the menu as take out and that also includes the specials of the day.

"The Pub" is a friendly and well run community gathering place. The food , always good, has gotten even better with the addition of a new talented chef. My pulled pork and cole slaw, specials on Wednesdays, was so delicious. I could not eat it all as it was a very generous portion so my family will enjoy it this... More

Living off Rt16 on the seacoast, our family frequently travels down 16 and past PPP and have stopped in on a few occasions. Our experience has been consistent. The food is always on the better end of "pub fare", prices are on the more reasonable side of the "tourist trap" restaurants along Rt16 but the service is usually poor and/or... More
