Let me start by saying that the owner of this restaurant, Christian Breen, goes out of his way to help the community. He's always willing to contribute. Every year he hosts a breast cancer benefit with the tastiest appetizers around. His chowder and fried calamari are to die for. The restaurant has a cozy bayside upstairs dining and downstairs there's... More

My husband and I don't get out alone very often. We love this place! ThIs past time we started with the chicken crunch and crab cakes then had the amazing seared scallops and the chicken saute! Food and service were superb! Looking forward to our next night out!

We went on a Saturday night and this place was fantastic. Very cozy, trendy, and great atmosphere! The drinks were large, tasty, and well worth the money. The menu seemed very well done and they had classy options for whatever you felt like.

Had lunch today at this homey place. Nice patio, great service and delicious food. The captain crunch coated chicken fingers were delicious as was the Cajun fish wrap, and the beef dip (wrapped in naan bread). I would definitely return for another meal!

We were looking for a place to meet friends who were traveling on I 93. The BWG came up in Salem very near the highway. The menu looked good, reviews were positive and the photos were inviting. On arrival we were surprised how quickly the area changed from highway wasteland to country rustic. The BWG is in an old New England... More

This restaurant is really good. It offers so much; an outdoor patio, lounge area with lots of seating and dining rooms arranged like a house. The food was excellent. Great portion size for the price. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly.

The food at the Black Water Grill is very good. The portions are a good size. The waitstaff is attentive without hanging over you. We enjoy eating here.

I was here on a work "meet the new team" event. The food was good, especially as we were about 40 people on a cold night. Tiffany ran the bar and pretty much everything else, and she was great. Good to talk to and just got everything done fast but in an organised fashion. I would love to return for... More

I go here a few times a month after work with colleagues to unwind and talk a little shop - mostly relax and have fun in the bar area. The staff is excellent - very friendly, professional and attentive. Wines are great - and their menu has a lot of variety - great appetizers too. In Season - love the... More
