Had lunch today at this homey place. Nice patio, great service and delicious food. The captain crunch coated chicken fingers were delicious as was the Cajun fish wrap, and the beef dip (wrapped in naan bread). I would definitely return for another meal!

We were looking for a place to meet friends who were traveling on I 93. The BWG came up in Salem very near the highway. The menu looked good, reviews were positive and the photos were inviting. On arrival we were surprised how quickly the area changed from highway wasteland to country rustic. The BWG is in an old New England... More

This restaurant is really good. It offers so much; an outdoor patio, lounge area with lots of seating and dining rooms arranged like a house. The food was excellent. Great portion size for the price. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly.

The food at the Black Water Grill is very good. The portions are a good size. The waitstaff is attentive without hanging over you. We enjoy eating here.

I was here on a work "meet the new team" event. The food was good, especially as we were about 40 people on a cold night. Tiffany ran the bar and pretty much everything else, and she was great. Good to talk to and just got everything done fast but in an organised fashion. I would love to return for... More

I go here a few times a month after work with colleagues to unwind and talk a little shop - mostly relax and have fun in the bar area. The staff is excellent - very friendly, professional and attentive. Wines are great - and their menu has a lot of variety - great appetizers too. In Season - love the... More

First time visit. Had the blackened scallops however my opinion of blackened differs from the cook. A blackened crust is guess what ...black. Lucky I also like seared scallops as these were big sea, moist and plentiful for the price. To the owner. Refinish your pine tables. Nothing like thinking worn poly and a previous poor finish is an in... More

My wife and I came to The Blackwater Grill on a Tuesday night for the first time. The restaurant is done in a casual upscale decor and has a comfortable feel to it. Danielle, our server, was very friendly and made us feel comfortable and welcome as she told us the daily specials. I prdered a baked haddock meal and... More

A 10 oz. perfectly cooked medium rare filet mignon with roasted potatoes and vegetables for $26! What more could one want? A specialty of the house of Chicken Sautee with pasta and a tomato parmesan sauce $16 was wonderful and more than enough for one person. In fact, I will have 2 more meals from the leftovers. The bread was... More
