This restaurant no longer exists. It has been torn down. It was enjoyable when it was there. A nice family restaurant

Terrible overpriced food. Cranky waitress. Also would not accept coupon we had. Atmosphere out of the sixties. Charges extra for gravey. They dont give you enough to begin with.

My husband and I love this restaurant. The food is always consistently good and well prepared. The waitstaff and service is always pleasant. We have so many "favorites" on the menu that we have a hard time choosing what to eat. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The Green Barn in Salem New Hampshire is only 10 minutes away from Rt 28 and is well worth the trip! We have eaten there many times and never had any complaints. You start off with free chicken/rice soup or beef noodle soup and delicious breads. My husband always gets the filet mignon and says it's the best around. I... More

Pros: My grandsons and I went for dinner, early on a Saturday evening. We were seated immediately and the wait staff was friendly and prompt. I loved the sauerbratten (German pot roast with sweet gravy). My grandsons, who can be discriminating dinners, ate all of their chicken tenders. Good acoustics. Even as the restaurant filled up as we ate, we... More

We have been going here for over 40 years. This restaurant has a warm atmosphere, we like to dine in the "barn". The staff is friendly, the place is clean, food is always good and plenty of parking. They always make a good drink.

We went to the Green Barn on our way home from Boston. WE have been going there for many years but there is a noticable change in management. We had two dinners and two drinks $75.00 We should have eaten in the North End. We will not be back. Way too expensive for Salem NH.

Very disappointed. It was the type of day for German comfort food. There are large gaps in what they offer. The sauces were like canned gravy I had poork loin that was dry and overcooked. Mediocre pot roast was billed as sauerbraten.

After waiting about 10-15 min for a seat (reservations are suggested), we were seated in a booth against the rear wall. Nice waitstaff and hostess. Food was plentiful and VERY tasty. Competive pricing. The interior is nothing fancy, quite aged, but comfy.

Excellent food!! Atmosphere is a little stuffy, but worth the sit for the food.
