We were on a family visit and it was late. Ray's was open for us for dinner at 8pm. We loved the chowder and lobster. I had the fish & chips and my dad got the medley of fried seafood. All our meals were good and fresh. The service was decent and portions are big. It was a good fit... More

Came here for dinner, my last night in NH and was very satisfied. This is more of a local place then a tourist place. I found it advertised in local paper and its located about 7 miles from the Hampton Beach area, located in Rye, NH. Totally worth the drive. The wait staff was very friendly and accomidating. I had... More

Terrific stop on a brisk Fall day. Excellent ocean views are on the 2nd level. We snagged a table directly overlooking the water. Our order of clams, scallops and fries were fresh, hot, with a perfect level of "crispy". Clams were lightly battered, good sized with a nice flavor (no grit, but a good level of natural sea salt-y). Scallops... More

On a cold, wet, windy day in early October, it was a treat to call in to Ray's for a lobster lunch. In fact, it was the perfect last meal of our trip to the US. Glad we followed the recommendations here.

Came after the beach right at lunch and were able to get a spot inside right away (there was a wait for the upstairs seating). There was a still a peak of a view over the seawall. Okay beer selection (none on tap) and it was cold and refreshing. We got: - fried clams, excellent (as was the tartar), I... More

We once again stopped at our old stand-by: Ray's Seafood. Although it was a crazy 88 degree day at the end of September in New Hampshire, and the restaurant was obviously not totally prepared for the amount of business for the day the food was very good and the service very good. Ray's hasn't disappointed us in many years and... More

This is simply the best place to get local lobster and seafood. I love the outdoor space so you can be covered by the rooftop but still enjoy the seabreeze and a view of the ocean.

Ray's isn't as crowded as Petey's and the food is as good. The view from the second floor is best as you can see over the berm all the way to the Isles of Shoals

Looking for another place to get lobster and GPS took us to a marina. Decided to drive down the road and found Ray's great service and food. Told by several locals we made a great choice. Going back tonight.

A nice spot with a view if yu eat outside for seafood. There is an inside, and upstairs and then a third floor upstairs too. Food is great and it is always busy.
