I have been to Brazo on several occasions and each time has been great. The pork confit is extraordinary! Also don't miss out on the fish taco appetizer. Food is a bit pricey but it is absolutely worth every penny. Service has been attentive and friendly on each of my visits as well.

This place has plenty even though some who are picky will have to take a minute or two to select off the uncomplicated menu. The Steaks, Chicken and Seafood were ordered by us. Brazo is a nice choice when you want something a bit different from what the rest of Portsmouth has to offer. The food is good, but expensive. Limited menu so not the best for picky eaters.

Took advantage of the Restaurant Week three course meal for $30. What a great deal. The food in general had a lot of flavour complexity. I booked this restaurant because it had been ranked #1 a few months back. Tapas were just not that good (although the fish tacos were good). The mojito and coffee drink I had were not very good either. It wasn't terrible, just not didn't have the "wow factor" I expected the best restaurant in Portsmouth to have.

After reading great reviews, my husband and I decided to dine at Brazo during our visit to Portsmouth. I expected something better but the food turned out to be just fine. While I have no complaints, I was not wowed by it. I won't be in a rush to come back again.
