Would consider returning again!

Visited Brazo with my parents and husband. The appetizers were good however I don't remember what we ordered. I enjoyed my stuffed pepper...was very good. The lamb however was not the best. Very good mojitos and very delicious blood orange sorbet. The sorbet and pepper was the best part of the meal!

We eat here quite often as its one of the staples in Portsmouth and up until now has been consistently very good across the board. Last night however tipped the scales in the negative direction. We were a party of 4. Service was good. The food however was for the first time not so great... We had appetizers and salads.... More

Decor very upscale/casual. We started out with the best fish tacos I've ever had. The wine selection was quite fitting for the food choices. Try the garncha, it was perfect. I got the churrasco steak entree and my wife got the mojo pork. Hers was far superior. The steak didn't have enough authentic spice to it. Dessert we had tres... More

We were able to get a reservation on the last day of Portsmouth's Restaurant Week. We arrived a few minutes ahead of our reservation and the hostess, Michelle, after wishing us a 'happy anniversary' offered seating at the bar until our table was ready. The bartenders were terrific and gave us a lot of time with our drinks decisions. Our... More

My wife called to seek reservations during restaurant week in Portsmouth. We were coming from out of state, and only know the area a little, so had to call a few places to get a feel for what to expect. Luna answered the call and was so inviting, bubbly, sweet and helpful, that we said "have to go there". We... More

I usually trust the recommendation on trip advisor so I am not sure why our experience wasn't great. The main issue was that we waited way too long for the food. The tuna and duck were great, the steak was ok but cold, probably because of the extra wait time. Sorry to say this, but yesterday we were at Wellington... More

Brazo continues to be one our our favorites. Visited last night. The drinks were delicious, the appetizers and dinners were just perfect. Best part of the evening was our waiter, Ryan. Ryan is friendly, very knowledgable and makes your dinner a special occasion every time you visit. Best service we have ever experienced.

This restaurant offered some unique dishes there were some of the best food I had. For appetizers, we had tapas that were all different with unique toppings. One was artichoke heart tempura, another was pork belly and the other 3 were also very delicious. For dinner, I highly recommend the duck dish. It was one of the best prepared ducks... More

My wife and I dined at Brazo during our recent stay in Portsmouth based on the overwhelmingly good trip adviser reviews. Let me begin by saying we were not disappointed! This gem of a restaurant is wonderful in every way...from the romantic atmosphere to the impeccable service we enjoyed every minute of our stay! Best of all, of course, is... More
