Nice little place to stop and have a sweet treat. After walking around town it was nice to find this little spot. We were also pleased to see it had sugar free ice cream. They have a couple tables inside to get out of the heat and enjoy your ice cream. Stop in when in the area you will be... More

Izzy's is by far the best Ice Cream in Portsmouth. Highly suggest "Moose Tracks Ice Cream". Also good coffee.

What is better on a nice summer night than ice cream in Portsmouth? Many flavor choices and even a kiddie size that can be hard to find for the wee ones or if you just want a taste. Head around the corner and sit by the tug boats while you enjoy your treat.

Ice cream, sorbets and frozen yogurts all at the corner of Ceres Street and Bow Street. Grab a treat and enjoy it while walking around town or by the water.

The frozen yogurt at Izzys is delicious, even better than ice cream. I highly reccomend the Mint Patty flavor on a sugar cone.

Loved the chocolate peanut butter yougurt. It was much better than the frozen yougurt my wife had at Annabelle's.

You can always tell the good places by the line out the door. Went here twice during Memorial Day weekend stay in downtown Portsmouth. Convenient location, excellent ice cream & froyo, personable young staff.

Ordered chocolate milkshake. It consisted of chocolate ice cream and milk. There was too much milk, making it watery and tasteless. We asked the server to add chocolate syrup to give it some taste. It was still watery and it tasted like she added a chocolate powder to it, although it looked like she added a syrup. It tasted like... More

Izzy's is really the OTHER ice cream place. If you're not getting your ice cream from Annabelle's, you're probably getting it at Izzy's. The problem with Izzy's is that they're closed in the winter. The good thing about Izzy's is that Annabelle's has competition and it makes both places better. Buy your treats wherever the line is shorter & you'll... More
