Capuchino

Came in 3 sizes. I ordered medium and it could have been large. Next time I will try small maybe then it would be like in Italy. A bit too much foam. Otherwise it was good.

With more than a dozen outdoor tables on a tree shaded plaza, this coffee spot is a great place to start your day or take a coffee break during your visit. Very good fresh roasted coffee on the premises, with fresh baked breads and pastries. Definitely a big cut above the homogenized Starbucks experience!

We all know that the coffee drinking experience transcends blackish water in a styrofoam cup. Drinking coffee is not about drinking coffee, if it were more of us will still be slurping sanka and keurigs would never feel lonely. Breaking New Grounds typifies what we long for, a bustling environment brimming with energy, stately decor to engage the senses, watercolors... More

Stopped by for a quick breakfast, we ordered an egg sandwich I wanted my eggs to be well done, they were not! So I didn't eat it, ordered a croissant instead, they have pastries too and it seem to be a place where locals and tourists alike go, they got very busy! If you want a quick bite this place... More

Large space with good coffee, although not necessarily friendly service. Had a cappucino and a blueberry muffin on a morning when I had a meeting to attend near town. You may not want to go here if you're in a hurry, as it took them about 10 mins or so to make a cappucino. However, if you've got the time... More

If you wish to be in the very center of the hubub that is Portsmouth in summer, there is no better place than this. See and be seen. Used to be my favorite place. This morning, I went in and asked for a pot of tea, the tea to be put in the pot - without the filter, and the... More

On a warm, sunny day, there is no better place in Portsmouth to sit outside right in Market Square, relax with a hot cup of coffee, and just hang out. People-watching at its best is what you will find here. BNG is hugely popular with tourists and locals, and you'll find the outdoor seating area to be very dog friendly.... More

Love this place! The coffee is superb and the cakes, sweets and treats are delectable. I recommend trying the chocolate torte. The staff is hard working and busy as the place is always packed. It's a relaxing place despite all the people, and it's a mixed crowd of all types. Being that it's in Market Square, the location is simply... More

This place is always busy. Its on a corner, a great place to grab coffee and a bagel or pastry and people watch. Lattes are good too. Nice vibe. Reasonable prices.

When in Portsmouth, skip the inevitable starbucks but head straight for the bedt coffee store in town. Leave the chocolate cakes ad these are all too sweet, a cookie maybe. But the coffee taste as it should be.
