Just drinks

Wanted to go to check out the "ice bar". Don't bother, its just a strip of ice about 6 inches wide on the far side of the bar you can put your beer on to keep it cold at the upstairs bar. We didn't eat there and just had a beer (one and done). My opinion is that the place... read more

It sort of looked like a tourist place. Lots of people there. Took awhile to get waited on and even longer to get our food. You don't have one waitress-you have several and no one seems to know what the last one did. When our fish dinner came it was not very good and where is there a better place... More

Nothing outstanding here. Just your average pub. We most recently went with a group of 8 and we're unable to sit down anywhere so we left.

There was nothing wrong with our food. It was average bar food. They had a half hour wait at 1:30 in the afternoon. So we went upstairs and ate in the second floor lounge. The bartender was friendly and was quick to get us beverages and our meals. The bathrooms, both men's and ladies were disgusting and filthy...I've been to... More

Went in for a spur of the moment late afternoon lunch/early dinner while window shopping and walking Portsmouth - it's not a town we're in a lot but we liked the look of the casual, pubby, not too serious or fancy style. My partner decided to go for the big burger challenge, he didn't think it was doable but figured... More

Stopped here for the first time ever the other night while in town with another couple enjoying the area during the Holiday Season. Liked the upstairs lounge area with couches and cozy seating area. Like having sports on TV, but the volume was like being in a theater and made conversation a bit difficult. Enjoyed their Fat Belly Ale and... More

It was my first time here, but the burger and service was great. If you are looking for a quick stop to fill up...good place to go.

Went in for a casual bite on a sunday, a few apps to share, and they were all very good. Just regular bar food type of things, but everything tasted great. We also unexpectedly got 1/2 off apps because it was sunday, but im not sure if this promotion is still running.

Had a quick lunch here on a cold day. The quality of food was very good with a prompt wait staff. It's a bar with a fairly good menu and a large selection of local brews. Right in the middle of the shopping area. Very quaint.
