One of the best breakfast's we have ever had. To die for omelets, melt in your mouth blueberry pancakes topped with wonderful service. Don't miss this little gem!!!

We had breakfast here on Sunday morning. As one can expect on a Sunday morning there was about a 30 minute wait. Well it was worth it! The food was delicious, service great and prices even better. The pancakes were HUGE!!! Eggs cooked perfectly. I only wish this place were bigger. Will definitely return to this establishment.

This is probably the best breakfast spot in Portsmouth. Unless you have the appetite of a Yeti, one pancake is probably enough. It's over a foot in diameter. Great food and it's a cute little breakfast spot with great service. One caveat, it can get busy unless you go early.

Great small venue for breakfast. Long wait but you can go to neighbor for coffee. Good food and service.

Tiny, very popular restaurant. We waited for awhile for seats. Lots of atmosphere, good food..vegetarian/vegan options (I had a tofu scramble for breakfast). Pancakes are huge..one makes a meal..Definitely worth a visit. Closes at two..so we missed lunch the first day..

Perfect little homestyle diner on a freezing cold morning. Giant blueberry pancake hanging over the sides of the plate (really, only order one!), and yummy eggs scrambled perfectly. Great simple food at a good price, fast.

Always a delicious and generous breakfast at Colby's! This time I ordered the marble rye with my scrambled eggs but was missing the cinnamon swirl toast. The only negative comment I have is that the home fried potatoes are always peppery. They are actually hot (spicy) because of being overly seasoned with pepper. The outside coffee pot is a nice... Came here for breakfast and ordered the smoked salmon eggs combo. I was expecting to be blown away from the reviews, but I was not that impressed. The smoked salmon was very salty, while the eggs and potatoes were very bland. I guess it worked well when you combined it, but there didn't appear to be much seasoning otherwise. The... More

Arrived to find an adorable small Resturant with a line. Put in our names and grabbed some coffee that was made available. Seated in under 30 minutes. Friendly staff, great coffee, cozy environment, delicious food, reasonable prices.

It's not easy finding a place in Portsmouth that is not over-priced and/or overrated but this is one of them. Colby's has a mellow, friendly atmosphere with an attentive wait staff and great breakfast food. 2 breakfasts and 2 bloodies for less than $30, hard to beat.
