Other than the lousy parking in Portsmouth, this is a great place for a meal. Breakfast was delicious and the place is quaint and charming.

I have been to Colby's twice and it was delightful both times. My friend and I always get the eggs benedict and some coffee. Eggs benedict is creamy, well cooked, and just delicious. Coffee is unlimited refills and service is great. It is first come first serve in a small cafe, so get there early!

Ate there on 9/21/2014 for breakfest at around 10am. Very good service and food quality. I had the mexican omlete, excellent. The bloody mary was very good also. Good menu choice, good quality food. There are 3 tables outside and we ate outside on a nice sunny morning. I would definetly go back.

Place is a favorite of the locals so get there early to avoid the liness. Place is small and quaint. It was one of the cheapest meals we had in Portsmouth with very generous portions. I had Irish Benedict with their homemade hash. It was wonderful. Staff is friendly and attentive. Get there before 0900!

This is a great place for breakfast. They also serve lunch. The coffee was very good. My husband had and egg and bacon sandwich and I had an omelet. Both meals were delicious.

Always a favourite and always jumpin' with an eclectic mix of people and plates… Delicious as always … The Cinnamin Swirl French Toast alone is worth the 5.5 hour drive from Montreal.

Best Reuben ever! Really liked the quesediallias though it needed a touch more flavor/punch. I look forward to going there again when we are in the area.

I've been to Colby's a couple of times for breakfast when visiting Portsmouth and it's a pretty good find. Food and coffee are quite tasty. Service is brisk and effective. Staff is super, super friendly and keep the whole place running nicely. Prices are reasonable. Looking for breakfast with my wife the morning before we headed back home after my conference in Portsmouth. Went on Trip Advisor's recommendation. Food was excellent and staff was friendly. I had omelette and wife's pancakes were great... Business was brisk, but they kept the guests moving through and smiling. A real Portsmouth find and deserving of #10...

I am in Portsmouth on business frequently and go to a lot of the local dinner places . I just on TA for some good breakfast places to walk to and stumbled upon Colby's. I know they are known for their pancakes and other dishes but just got a simple sausage and eggs with coffee and it was great,.usually greasy... More
