Loved Poco's!

We stopped at Poco's to grab an early lunch on a Sunday. We got what we think were the best seats in the house! Right next to the fireplace, looking out onto the water and the boats and the bridge! The menu was great, lots to choose from! We had Bloody Marys and they were spicy and delicious... read more

I've eaten here several times, mainly for the view of the tugboats from the upper deck. The food and cocktails are very good. We usually get the fish tacos and Margaritas. Prices are reasonable for Portsmouth, and the portions are satisfactory. Service is always excellent. The view alone is worth the price.

My husband and I come here all the time ( we work up the street, so it's very convenient!). The service and food are always great here. I love the nachos. They do have a flavoring on them, not spicy, but hard to explain. Very good though. I'm vegetarian and they have so many options available, which is a huge... More

The food was very good cooked to order no complaints. They were very busy so the food came out slow.

Seating was confusing went up and back down the stairs, poor communications. Seating was ok, delays in drink and appetizer order. Ordered chips and salsa chips were over seasoned with a powder. Ordered dinner and it came out quickly. Lobster quesadilla had very little lobster meat and way too much spinach. Beef chimichanga was bland and had oil taste. Rice... More

I wasn't expecting a great meal at Poco's Bow Street Cantina. There wasn't anything about the place that was particularly great. The view was pleasant, as we dined on the patio. It struck me as the type of place that coasts off its ideal waterfront location. The food is not bad, but it is unremarkable. We dined during the midday,... More

This is a cute place for mexican. Great drink menu! Had the sunburned marharita (had cranberry juice) was excellent. The food portions are generous and the food was great. I had snapper tacos, my daughter was tame and had a burger but she said it was good and my friend loved her chicken quesidillas. The guacomole is fresh, and delicious.... More

While visiting and walking the streets of Portsmouth NH we looked for a place to rest-relax and enjoy a drink. We found Poco's and had a ball. The margarita's and other tropical drinks were excellent and the appetizers large and tasty. The deck overlooking the harbor isn't big, but it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the libation. Our... Right on the popular waterfront strip in downtown Portsmouth harbor, this Mexican joint has good food, but at a price that isn't palatable. I'm from NYC, so I am not quick to be hit by menu sticker shock. While the staff were polite, they were inattentive. Additionally, this is the ONLY Mexican restaurant I've been to that does not give... More

Good value, good food and good service. Had a nice gluten free selection. Mia, our waitress was very patient and helpful and didn't rush us at al, even though we were the last ones there.
