Yummy!

Dined here while enjoying the sights of Portsmouth. Had 4 kids in tow, seemed like a family-friendly spot. Wanted to sit downstairs, outside; hostess didn't see a spot for 7 of us. The best part was the view. They have great decks overlooking the tugboats and Piscatequa River. The service was casual and our server was super friendly. Servings were generous. Burrito was soggy dough. Lacked flavor. French fries ( I know, not Mexican) were tasteless and not hot. Fish tacos were okay. Salsa side was minuscule and again lacked flavor. Unimpressed.

Right on the water, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Great Bar Scene and nachos. Wait until the weather is good so you can eat on the deck. Margaritas are a must!

I'm not quite certain how this restaurant has stayed a float. The food is subpar...rice and beans were microwave dinner quality. It was just generally disappointing. Was not full at all considering it was a Friday night...that should have been a clue for me.

Pocos is a Portsmouth institution, mostly based on location. It was always known for good drinks and you could get some food too if you needed something to support the margarita pipekine down your throat. Service was notoriously bad and the food wasnt much better, but it has improved into a decent place to be seen, innocuous, and boasts a... More

It's true - the view of the tugboats is scenic. And yes there is a great selection of cocktails. And yes the food is so-so. It's a very popular spot (and very noisy) and the decks are the place to be on a beautiful day but if the food is important you may be disappointed. The taco salad is 'ok'... More

I had heard some good things about Poco's but found my experience to be just average. They do make some good drinks and the coconut mojito is very good. They have plenty of bars in the restaurant so they can handle the crowds. They have a downstairs open area and an upstairs deck to look over the water. What was... More

My husband and I love authentic Mexican food and drinks, but if that's what your looking for this is not the place for you. We were impressed by the variety of tequilas that were offered and the margaritas we ordered were average. As far as the food, the appetizers were the best part, we got Snakebites and Avocado Fries, both... More

My wife and I have been to Poco's a couple of times now and have enjoyed it very much. They have a good menu and great drinks as well. The location is also very nice as it is next to the water.
