Went here for dinner with a group of 7 on July 22. Once we got there we were seated outside on the deck. Great view right on the water with all the tugboats right nearby. It was a lively atmosphere out on the deck. I ordered the clam chowder and the lobster feast which came with a whole lobster, mussels... More

It is a lovely spot, the food was great. I'm not too much into the fried food, but now and then indulge. I have to admit the batter was light, and the seafood was very tasty. It was a lovely time with my family, some who dont have the chance for fresh seafood. So it was an experience for them.... More

My girlfriend and I were in New Hampshire for a few days attending a wedding and decided to spend a day exploring Portsmouth... I grew up in Florida, on and around the beach, so eating on the water has no real novelty for me anymore. I still however realize that here in Portsmouth this location is clearly something special, which... More

Waitress had zero personality, and a gentleman cleared our plates and brought our food- not really sure what her role was. The place wasn't packed on a Friday evening, so that should've been clue #1, but we were with kids and Portsmouth at night is a little more college kid/date night- so this environment fit for us. Ordered 2 lobster... More

My husband and myself like this restaurant for their seafood and the view of the tugboats and other boats here. Water right up to the dining room. You can eat outside or inside. They have great bar drinks too. We usually order the fried clam baskets as their other plates are huge. Price is not too much for this touristy... More

We always make it a point stop at Old Ferry Landing when we are in Portsmouth. It’s lively casual atmosphere and great drinks (you have to have a Jimmy Juice) on a summer day, make the New England winters worth enduring (sort of)! Outdoor seating right on the river next to the tug boats, it’s seems to be the busiest... More

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the view of the harbor is great. Very friendly service, food was typical fried seafood, not great but good. Worth a try, especially to sit outside.

Got a table right on the railing and there were great views. Food was fair/good, party of 4 had lobster and shrimp salad, lobster roll, baked salmon and a fried white fish. Lots of restaurants along this street and Bow St. Would choose another next ime.

Combo lunch basket of whole belly clams and shrimp with fries and slaw for $27.99. Ouch. No lunch prices but lunch size portions. All was cooked well and tasty except the slaw which was bland and not worth eating. Haddock sandwich was cooked a little much and a small piece on a burger roll for $15 with fries. I'd order... More

This famous spot used to be great for its food, prices and family atmosphere. Now its all about the bar and Jimmy Juice. More profit in booze than food so I have changed my first choice to another nearby waterfront venue where there's value for money.
