we sat outside on the patio for lunch. Had pretty tasty food. I ate a tuna sandwich - very fresh and a huge cut of fish. View was wonderful. Right by the tug boats and open water. It was crowded on the patio. And our server was a little rude and inattentive. But she was the only server for all... More

I was In town for work and I wanted to enjoy a restaurant on the water. This is just what I was in the mood for; a casual restaurant on the water, seat yourself on the deck. I enjoyed some nice white wine, clam chowder and the lazy lobster over a Caesar salad. The waitress came over immediately; the service... More

We stopped for lunch. Had the seafood platter and sat on the outside deck near the water. Well worth it, good value.

If you visit Portsmouth, do not miss eating at Old ferry Landing; it is situated on Ceres St, right down by the water.. The food is absolutely phenominal.and so fresh! Also, have a Jimmy's Juice- greatest drink. They close September 27th for the season. A really nice place to eat. Their large baskets of scallops and clams were enough for... More

We dined outside at night during September. Dress warmly. Had lobster tails which were good but a bit on the small side. Waitress was helpful and attentive. Nothing fancy but view is nice.

The bad- the food, its not worth the price The good- the staff, beer and drinks. Fast service, good beer. Wife and I went there, both of us had Lobster Rolls and Chowder. Chowder was great....Lobster rolls were full of lobster...but nothing else....really really lame. Better to be had. If your limited, its good!

Reasonably priced. I had chowder, lobster roll, wine, for under $40. View can't be beat: Watch the boats, sip your wine, nibble at your lobster, and maybe the clouds will turn a little pink in the sunset.

I went here with my girlfriend for lunch on Labor day. We started off with a round of drinks at the outdoor bar. It was great, a little tight, but the Jimmy Juice (a rum punch) was delicious. We sat there right on the water watching the boats come and go and really enjoyed ourselves. Next we moved inside to... More

If you're looking for a high end, elegant sea food restaurant, don't stop here. However, if you want a low-key, unpretentious, friendly spot, with basic, but delicious, sea food, with a wonderful spot on the harbor, then this is your spot. Service is excellent, staff is unbelievably friendly, with quick service, great food, and a wonderful assortment of beers. You... More

Took a motorcycle ride to the coast and was surprised how difficult it was to find shrimp. My wife wanted something with shrimp and a lot of the seafood restaurants in Portsmouth didn't have shrimp on their menu. But let that go. The Old ferry had a nice feel to it, a little cramped but it was ok, didn't get... More
