The bad- the food, its not worth the price The good- the staff, beer and drinks. Fast service, good beer. Wife and I went there, both of us had Lobster Rolls and Chowder. Chowder was great....Lobster rolls were full of lobster...but nothing else....really really lame. Better to be had. If your limited, its good!

Reasonably priced. I had chowder, lobster roll, wine, for under $40. View can't be beat: Watch the boats, sip your wine, nibble at your lobster, and maybe the clouds will turn a little pink in the sunset.

I went here with my girlfriend for lunch on Labor day. We started off with a round of drinks at the outdoor bar. It was great, a little tight, but the Jimmy Juice (a rum punch) was delicious. We sat there right on the water watching the boats come and go and really enjoyed ourselves. Next we moved inside to... More

If you're looking for a high end, elegant sea food restaurant, don't stop here. However, if you want a low-key, unpretentious, friendly spot, with basic, but delicious, sea food, with a wonderful spot on the harbor, then this is your spot. Service is excellent, staff is unbelievably friendly, with quick service, great food, and a wonderful assortment of beers. You... More

Took a motorcycle ride to the coast and was surprised how difficult it was to find shrimp. My wife wanted something with shrimp and a lot of the seafood restaurants in Portsmouth didn't have shrimp on their menu. But let that go. The Old ferry had a nice feel to it, a little cramped but it was ok, didn't get... More

My wife and I had dinner here. I had the special, grilled tuna over couscous with a nice salad which included mesculun, tomatoes, cucumber, onions. It was big, but served on an under-sized plate, so it was a challenge to eat. I did like the tuna. My wife had the fried shrimp basket which she thought did not come with... More

Great break from shopping in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Sit outside in the back deck. You overlook tugboats that are docked a swell as the bridge that spans New Hampshire and Maine. Clam chowder is excellent a swell as fresh non greasy clams. Locals and visitors are very friendly. An enjoyable experience.

An old on the water eatery with outside seating. Bring your sunglasses! Very close tables. Quick service. Food comes out at a fast pace. Good quality seafood. We did the combo, lobster roll and clam chowder. It was quick and yummy!

The Boss and I ate here along time ago and it is still a nice spot. I had the shrimp basket, she had the haddock. The food was good and plentiful! The wait staff were attentive and pleasant. A beautiful lunch! We both enjoyed the view. The Boss said we may come back sooner than later.

Sat outside on the deck and had an awesome view of the harbor. Clam chowder was very good, as was the lobster roll. Fried clams were great! This is also one of the few places that seem to know how to make a good Cape Codder! Would definitely go back!
