Good food and setting...

Let's face it....you pay a small premium to eat here because of the view. The food does stand on its own but is definitely enhanced by a great water view. Service was very good. Overall a nice experience and will like go again.

Delicious meal at the Old Ferry Landing in Portsmouth, NH. Quiet day on the waterfront, no wait (unusual) and perfect table outside on the water. Really stopped for a late afternoon Ferry Margarita (Hornito's, Cointreau, pink lemonade, and lime juice). Since we didn't sit at the bar (very small area outside and packed) we were required to order something to... More

Good local craft beer and good lobster rolls. Yummy......We sat on the outside overlooking the harbor because it was a beautiful day with temps in the low 70's.

The best lobster rolls I have ever had. Huge chucks of lobster on either a hot dog bun or hamburger bun, a view right on the water. What a place to run into for lunch. We couldn't have been any luckier and right downtown.

Yes, it's a longtime, tourist spot with an open deck, but not worth the money for entrees. If you are looking for outside seating and drinks, stop in. If you'd like reasonable cost for decent fish entrees, this is not the spot. Spent $23 for broiled haddock, which was actually baked, swimming in water and a skimpy tail piece of fish!... More

The Old Ferry Landing is on the water in Portsmouth, in the middle of the tourist area. Lots of seafood options and daily specials. A wide selections of beers, including micro brews. Mu wife had a vegan burger and I had a turkey wrap. I know, it is seafood restaurant on the coast. Still, we went that route and had... More

we sat outside on the patio for lunch. Had pretty tasty food. I ate a tuna sandwich - very fresh and a huge cut of fish. View was wonderful. Right by the tug boats and open water. It was crowded on the patio. And our server was a little rude and inattentive. But she was the only server for all... More

I was In town for work and I wanted to enjoy a restaurant on the water. This is just what I was in the mood for; a casual restaurant on the water, seat yourself on the deck. I enjoyed some nice white wine, clam chowder and the lazy lobster over a Caesar salad. The waitress came over immediately; the service... More

We stopped for lunch. Had the seafood platter and sat on the outside deck near the water. Well worth it, good value.
