I visited here on July 27 with friends for lunch. We were seated quickly and our beverages were delivered just as fast. My friends had a vegetarian burger, and I had the ploughman plate. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the cost was minimal. I would recommend this place. They have a great list of their brewed beers... More

I had stopped here once before for the beer selection, which is excellent in both variety and quality. Brought the family back to try their lunch. Interesting but limited, it seemed a bit "eclectic" and pricey for a brewpub. I'll put that on me for not checking out the menu before going in! The food came pretty quick, but the... More

The staff was not helpful in the beer selection and seemed uninterested. Beer mediocre at best. With so many other great places to grab a beer, this would be my last choice.

This was probably one of the best setup brewpubs I have ever been to. When you walk in you can sit in whatever setting you are looking for. They have a "sky lounge" which is an elevated seating area, outside beer garden, an amazing lounge downstairs called the Jimmy Lapanza lounge as well as the main bar/ seating area. The... More

It's big, it's brash but it's also cozy. Enjoyed pretty good fish & chips - Portsmouth holds onto it's English roots well.

Very disappointing experience as it was recommended by the Sheraton Hotel. Terrible service and the food was of average quality. I will not return to this restaurant.

We had lunch at this restaurant. The food choices were unique and all tasted good. It was a bit pricey and I was dismayed that I could not sub a salad for fries, even with a fee. I would have had to buy the salad at full price. It also took an hour to have lunch, which seemed long to... More

I always enjoy my visit to Portsmouth Brewery. They have a great selection of beers and the food is a level up from the usual bar food and the selections are eclectic.

Four of us recently stopped there for lunch. Among our selections were the salmon sandwich, pulled pork sandwich and and calamari. All were tasty and satisfying for a luncheon meal. Beers were also very enjoyable. We would recommend for a casual lunch in an interesting setting.

My husband was looking forward to a good beer with a nice lunch on a day trip to Portsmouth. However the first beer he ordered was just average. The second beer was better but still not great. Our food took an extremely long time to arrive as did our beverages, water glasses, appetizers, and check, so we had quite an... More
