We went during lunch time and were seated right away in their inner courtyard. It was great to enjoy good beer in the sunshine amidst exposed brick walls and greenery. I highly recommend asking to be seated outside; it's small and intimate. The beer selection was quite good and the food was delicious. We had the deviled eggs and the... More

Food was pretty good I had some Chicken, Onion, Bacon-flat bread special and my husband had the pulled pork:) with delicious french fries. I couldn't wait to get out of there though...it was cold out and inside had a cold feeling as well between the color scheme or lack-there-of and the cool dim lights. The booth was straight varnished plywood/very... More

My husband enjoyed the wide selection of freshly brewed beer. For dinner I enjoyed the fish and chips. We were seated right away and enjoyed the historical building with tall ceilings and the artsy decor. We did not have to wait long for our drinks or dinner and would return for lunch and/or dinner when we are next in Portsmouth.

Celebrated 3 birthdays in our family. Found a great restaurant that had great food to please all 10 people. Fun atmosphere, many quality craft beers on tap and bottles.

Beer selection is great. Good pub food. Friendly staff. I liked that the Nachos were just chips and cheese. I hate when Nachos are ruined with too much stuff on top of them. These were done right.

Always a good meal, Ale house mussels are the best compared to any we've ever had in NH ! We always end up meeting friendly people at the bar and always get great service.

We came here on New Year's day and it was amazing. We actually just hung out in the Jimmy LaPanza Lounge part which is basically their basement (or any man's dream mancave, lol). It is very trendy and the decor is very clean and sleek. It has a pool table and a shuffleboard game which is perfect for having some... More

On our trip to Portsmouth a bartender for another establishment suggested we take our teenagers to the Brewery for lunch or dinner, and if we go, order the mussels. We did go for lunch and we ordered them for the four of us, with tomatoe and ale and seasonings. Never had mussels so good! I would eat those for my... More

So many great options in Portsmouth. We beat the lunch rush here. They are kid friendly. They can accommodate a larger group. Cider can be had here. Chargrilled burger was my choice today. Good kids menu.

Just returned from a quick getaway to Portsmouth and visited the brewery for dinner. Parking can be challenging but got lucky and found a spot steps from the restaurant. It was New Year's Day and we had to wait about 30 min for our party of 4. Great selection of beers and lively atmosphere. Sat in room in the back... More
