The best part of the meal was the Seafood Bouilabaisse with Saffron was amazing. It was by far the best part of the meal and would highly recommend this Main Course. We started with the Cheese plate which was a course of 4 cheeses. I would prefer to choose among a few and decide what I want rather than just... More

An easy to find, friendly spot in the center of Portsmouth. Sunday brunch is the best....no buffet, order from the menu. A great place to dine before going to a matinee!

Went for brunch at Michelle's to celebrate friend's birthday. We had a lovely table upstairs ( reservation made a few days earlier). We were seated promptly and the service was pleasant and attentive. Our meals included the seafood creeps and the crabmeat sandwich. I had the shrimp and grits and although it was a different version from what I am... More

We went to Michelle's last night for dinner. We had reservations and were seated upstairs. We were one of 5 tables and a few patrons at the bar. When we sat down we were given water a and food menu (but not wine) menus and were told that Travis, the bartender, would be our server. We watched Travis bustle around,... More

I am gluten free, not by choice but because of a potentially serious health issues exacerbated by gluten. I was craving eggs benedict. Even though hollandaise sauce is simply butter, egg yolks and lemon juice to be on the safe side I asked my server if the hollandaise was house made AND if it was gluten free. The "chef" happened to... If your a fan of lobster get the lobster eggs benedict. I would think its in my top 5 all time breakfasts that I've had. Great location to have brunch and then stroll around market square afterwards.

Three of us went for brunch. Great atmosphere; the place was rather full and crowded, so we were seated at the bar. Slow service (we felt ignored). My lobster roll had completely tasteless lobster and was accompanied by a soggy salad that was more oil than salad. Here in Portsmouth NH I expect far better lobster.

Recently went here with my girlfriends for dinner. We had an 8:00 reservation but the staff seemed overwhelmed with the upstairs dining so we opted to sit in a front window table that is next to the open kitchen. The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive. I never went upstairs to look at the main dining area.... More

Michelle's offers one of the best lobster rolls I have ever enjoyed. Huge portion of lobster meat with just the right combination of ingredients, not swimming in mayo like a lot of other places. Served on their signature baguette, not the typical hot-dog roll. The lobster and brie salad is another great choice. We always try to visit Michelle's, it... More

I found myself back in Portsmouth, sadly for only 1 night. I walked from the Marriott in town to Michelle's. Sadly, Michelle was at their other restaurant, so I didn't see her this time. I felt welcomed back into a friend's home! I was seated at the bar upstairs, quickly made conversation with the people on either side of me.... More
