Very good with attentive service!

Good chinese food, nice atmosphere, attentive staff. Dumplings are great as is the House Fried Rice. Has a bar with TV if you are alone and just want an inexpensive quick chinese meal.

Maybe I've been to so many excellent Asian restaurants that I'm a bit jaded, but I think this place is just average. It has good food, so-so atmosphere, and reasonable prices, and service was slow, at least when we went. I wouldn't mind having an occasional lunch here when I'm downtown, but I wouldn't go out of way to eat... More

We went in for lunch. We had a Pu Pu Platter, two luncheon specials & 2 beers. The Platter was ample & very good. The boneless ribs & egg roll were EXCELLENT !!!. I had the Shrimp & Lobster Sauce, while my wife had the Spicy, Crispy Beef. Both were fresh, and VERY tasty. The restaurant was spotless & the... More

My wife and I went here for the first time today and we both had the Hot Pot, one chicken and one pork. They were absolutely delicious, fresh and we were able to put our own hot oil in the broth to make it even more tasty ! The staff was wonderful in helping us with OUR first time cooking... More

Wanted Asian food delivered. Came on time, despite that for some reason the driver was given the wrong address. Fortunately, he had the brains to call and we got it straightened out with no trouble. The food? Excessively salty hot and sour soup; pan fried dumplings that were ok, not too greasy but had very thick dough. The tipping point was... More

My husband and I had dinner here together with mother in law and her husband. Everything we ordered was good! Appetizer: Crab Rangoon is my favorite; Chicken Finger, Beef Teriyaki, Boneless Spareribs are my husbands favorite. For the entree, I love their Fried Rice and the Triple Green. Delicious!

We made reservations because the Hot Pot tables are just a few, and not at every table. The quality and quantity of food was excellent. Lots of fresh and clean veggies, varying from baby bok choy to taro root. The meat was very tender and sliced very thin. Every thing comes to the table fresh and uncooked. You cook your... More

My wife and I live about 40 minutes Northwest of Portsmouth. We have tried several Chinese Restaurants around our area and were greatly disappointed. THEN I searched around for something in the Portsmouth area and found the Pink Bamboo. I will tell you that we LOVE this place. We have been there about 4 times now, and everything is always... Have only been there once or twice since it has been under new ownership. We dined there frequently in the past, in the restaurant and take out. Fresh ingredients, clean restaurant, good food.

We ordered Pad Thai; Crunchy noodles w/shrimp; and Hot & Sour soup. None of these should be bland, but all were. The hot & sour soup wasn't too bad compared to the others though. The Pad Thai was white and flavorless. The Crunchy noodles were marked as hot/spicy but were anything but. Chinese take-out is everywhere and these are common... More
