The food is quite good. Frustrating they put such limits on certificates you purchase. Beautiful building - former old bank.

We rarely eat at the bar but when watching the World Cup or any other sporting event these are the best seats in a "new to you" city. We planned our New England trip around restaurants or pubs with a special atmosphere (former bank), interesting menu, and televisions showing sporting events. My husband went for lighter fare with a turkey... More

Food was outstanding. Midrange pricing. Fish was fresh as it should be on the coast, and sides were also very fresh. Was worried it would all be fried offerings, but they had healthy choices too like grilled cod sandwich and bean tomato and cucumber salad. Wish we lived closer. Fresh Guinness is my husband's quest...and he found it at Ri... More

Or – dare I say – any dinner. Our group of 14 were in the vault room. We started with a mix of apps – all were great, especially the chicken wings and nachos fries. Nice to have scotch eggs, too. I had the ‘603’ for dinner at our server’s suggestion, It was a great burger. Only drawback to the... More

This converted bank didn't seem like an Irish pub in atmosphere at all. The food was fine, but not great. The service was good, but not great. Maybe it's better as a night scene than a dinner spot.

No real complaints or rave reviews about this place. Went for lunch upon arriving in Portsmouth. Had the Corned Beef Reuben- sandwich was very good. Sat outside- service was also fairly quick and efficient (though the restaurant wasn't very busy at the time). Staff was very friendly. I'd go back again.

Went to this pub for an Irish breakfast on a Saturday mid afternoon. 3/4 floor staff on duty busy but not full. Waiting 10 mins for our drinks order to be taken. Ordered food and waitress came back twice to check details. Was not offered a glass with my beer. Appetizer never arrived , had to chase up. 45 mins... More

I have been to this small chain in a couple of times. My first trip was like an oasis appearing from a mirage, a converted bank housing a reproduction Irish pub. Beers were cheap and fresh, and their vegetarian potato cakes were to die for. July 2013 they changed the menu, and removed some key items like the above cakes.... More

Great location and lovely local spot that is very noisy and always crowded. Just think the food is lackluster and the menu a little too limited to meat and potatoes. Irish food just isn't that appealing!

We went here on a cold, snowy night in January to have some cocktails and hot soup. Everything was very good, plus we had the fun of participating in their trivia night with a large table of college students.
