Was looking for a simple lunch, nothing too fancy or requiring several courses and Lexie's fit the bill! Its a tiny little place a short drive from the main hub of Portsmouth. It's dining room is small, but clean and the service is fine -- sort of a combination of a fast place and diner. The star of the place... More

It is only one dollar sign or 2 at most i don't know why it says that. It is a great place for family and friends. I would take this over any place in portsmouth thats a burger joint.

Got dinner to go here one night. Great original ideas. I got a "stairway to heaven." Which was a burger with braised beef ribs (sorry if I get that wrong, it's been a few days). I know it was phenomenal. I also got the Oreo shake that was a perfect compliment. Lots of gourmet choices for fries too. My only... More

After six days in Maine with seafood every day for lunch and dinner , we made one well-chosen departure for a delicious, inexpensive hamburger at Lexie's. It's every bit as good as previous reviews suggest: a burger made with excellent meat, perfectly cooked, absolutely delicious and just the right size to leave us happy but not stuffed. A small order... More

Lexi's does a GREAT job and putting together unique burger offerings (all are available in Beef, Bean or Cluck (chicken)) to temp anyone's taste-buds! The burgers are perfectly sized so that you do not feel gross after you have eaten, and the price is very reasonable. The fries are amazing too - I highly recommend the bistro fries! I little... This is one place where ordering everything in the menu won't bankrupt you. We had fish tacos, three burgers, truffle fries, onion rings, and coleslaw. Fish tacos were very good, not,the best I have ever head, but still tasty. All burgers were delish. Fries tasty and perfectly cooked. Onion rings were from REAL,thin-sliced fresh onions and were delectable. Cheap beer... More

When I have my grandchildren I like to take them here, where they can get their burgers the way they want them, and have the best french fries anywhere around. Lexie's uses potato rolls to cuddle their burgers, daily specials are always on the board.

Funny that Lexie's is at the top of the Portsmouth list as it's by no means the best restaurant in town, but i can see why it is a big favorite for it's food, atmosphere and vibe. In it's tier of casual dining, it has several big pluses: very good burgers, even better fries (wow are they good) and reasonable... More

I ordered the fish tacos, mint chocolate milkshake, and truffle fries. All three were extraordinarily tasty and worth the price (especially the truffle fries, which cost half of what I'd expect for such a dressy item).

Food was awesome! Burgers smaller than I thought but they packed a lot of flavor! The staff was great! The food also came out fast!
