If you want a burger in downtown Portsmouth, this is it!

My kid loves this place, and he knows burgers, so I tried it and had just a plain cheeseburger with the usual condiments. It was SO good! The homemade fries are excellent. It's just a casual little place, nothing fancy. The prices are so reasonable that you forget you're in Portsmouth. I... read more

Great concept, but poor execution in my opinion. A relatively long wait (at 5p on Sunday) in a packed entryway I'm OK with for a good burger. For an average burger, I'd prefer to go elsewhere. I had one of the daily special burgers, which sounded great, but lacked conviction. As a transplant Southerner and lifelong burger lover, I'm having... More

Finding out that an inexpensive burger joint was the number two rated restaurant in all of Portsmouth, New Hampshire - a notable restaurant city - was puzzling. The number one restaurant, Massimo's, is rated four dollar signs in expense, Lexie's is a one. They offer a few other things, such as fish and chips, fish tacos, a hotdog and a... More

Small but worth the wait. Great burgers, great shakes, and their spicy fries are THE best. The burgers are small by some standards but excellent. You can order off the menu or build your own. There is a reason I am a frequent dinner here.

The lunch I had been great not only because of the food but because of the bill, the bill was easy on the budget alongside the service been good. The only thing that was not good was the location as it was out of the way. I ordered a fish taco, and it was amazing. I recommend this place for... More

Update - this place still rules. Now offering a 4oz and 8oz burger (I am sticking to 4) as well as a number of aioli sauces for fry dipping. Place was busy but spot on - fresh fries with nice crisp, burger had a nicely toasted bun, a little salt and pepper and we were good to go.

I've been here a few times with my kids, both in their late teens and we have all really loved it. The burgers are cooked just right and the bistro fries are phenomenal. Portion sizes are perfect and the price can't be beat. If you are looking for a quick, fun place for a great burger while in Portsmouth, make... More

While not the largest burgers around, they're some of the tastiest. Plus they're always cooked correctly. The topping choices are all encompassing - If you want it, they've probably got it. Add on whatever you want or pick one of their specialty burgers - either way you'll be back re-ordering at the earliest chance. I sometimes get in a rut... More

Not to be missed if you're looking for a burger or fish tacos. It crowded but worth the wait plus it's affordable. Try the fries!

very good burger on a soft bun and tasty hand cut fries cooked properly. The actual facility is quite small with limited parking and it was a saturday and therefore packed with many waiting for tables. I chose to take out and eat out in car rather than wait for a table. not much atmosphere. quick service was provided so... More
