At the Roundabout Diner and Lounge, we serve breakfast all day, great burgers and sandwiches, Phantom Gourmet award-winning BBQ, comfort food classics like meatloaf, roast turkey, and of course, local New England favorites like fish and chips, and the best lobster roll around. We also use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, like bread baked just for us by When Pigs Fly Bakery, breakfast sausage made for us in Vermont, local cheeses, and more. And we make all our delicious cakes and pies right here at the Roundabout. From scratch! If you would like us to cater one of your events then look no further than Chill Catering, one of the largest catering companies on the seacoast.

I've eaten here twice, for dinner with family and for breakfast, and the second time at breakfast will be the last because of the loud music. (Why is it that music has to be played everywhere now -- restaurants, gas stations as you're pumping gas, etc.). Anyway, having to listen to loud generic pop music as I eat breakfast at... More

When I was recently reviewing a breakfast stop my husband and I had visited, I read others' reviews of the same restaurant. More than just a couple of reviewers said that they liked the Roundabout Diner & Lounge at the Portsmouth traffic circle better. So, last Saturday when my husband got into the truck and asked, "Where to?" My answer... More

I had a great first experience at the Roundabout Diner. I had a pulled-pork grilled cheese and it was served to me in a quick and painless manner. The sandwich had just the right amount of cheese to pulled pork, and the BBQ sauce and cheese melded together to make a delicious experience for lunch. The diner is very cute... More

Ate all but one meal at this hotel restaurant over a 3 day business meeting. It was that good! 50's themed restaurant, very popular with both locals and area business travelers had both good food, a great happy hour and excellent value. This place is not trying to be farm-to-table, upscale or chic, it's a nice meal, served up by... More

They have all the standard breakfast items but include a few other well executed item like corn bread french toast, home made corned beff hash, and BBQ omelets. I also love the 50's decor

We came in for lunch one day and loved that we could still get breakfast. The food was decent and the service was good. It was very loud. It didn't bother us but it might bother some.

We regularly visit the Roundabout diner. Although there is usually a very long line to get in (and parking hard to find), the wait to sit down and eat isn't long. We've always been very happy with our meal and service.

💕Hubby and I had breakfast here on Sunday (11/17/13) Fantastic! I had the western omelette, home fries, wheat toast. Food came in a timely manner, piping hot, eggs were cooked perfectly, amazing ham in omelette! The home fries were freshly made potatoes, so moist. The wheat bread alone is a meal. Hubby had Mexican omelette, he loved it. Had the... More
