We probably wouldn't have stopped at The Roundabout Diner if it hadn't been for the Trip Advisor reviews we read. We typically have not had great experiences with restaurants attached to hotels but this one was a gem. My husband ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup and it was just like we make at home (if not better!). The... More

This was a perfect place for breakfast. The atmosphere is very retro and cool. The menu had plenty of great choices, and the service was friendly and quick. The French toast was made with Texas toast and was delicious and huge: enough to share some bites with your family. I had a 'Breakfast Bowl' which was scrambled eggs, and home... More

We were just driving through Portsmouth, NH and came upon the Roundabout Diner.Lounge. It was a pretty cool place. The food was very good and the wait staff was very attentive. Our food came quickly and was delicous. The inside of the Diner has a 50's Retro feeling, which is always fun. The prices were very affordable and is a... More

The service was superb, seated right away. My friend is elderly and used cane so the hostess seated us right by door. We were asked and received our beverages right away. The server came over within 3 mins for order, told us specials then gave us more time to decide. My friend had lobster mac& cheese. Excellent lots of chunk... More

We had lunch here the other day and gave been here many times before. The food is always good and the service is usually very good. Our kids had pancakes and French toast and they were very pleased. I had a veggie omelet, which was delicious and I loved the home fries and toast. My husband had buffalo chicken Mac... More

Reasonably priced, great food, nice atmosphere. A little difficult to figure out how to get into the parking lot, as it is right off the rotary (round-a-bout)

Stopped here after a long day since we were staying nearby. Started with fried pickles and dill-garlic dip - amazing. Hard to stop eating the pickles. They were some of the best fried pickles I have ever had and the sauce was delicious. I had a cup of clam chowder - which is huge, I thought it was a bowl!... More

We had dinner here, and then breakfast a couple days later. Ample portions, great service, and very reasonable prices. For dinner I ordered Muddy Pie, a great riff on Shepherd's Pie that had pulled pork as the base. My corned beef hash omelette was outstanding...w/ delicious homemade hash , home fries, and very good, thick, marbled rye toast. The Roundabout... More
