We also use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, like bread baked just for us by When Pigs Fly Bakery, breakfast sausage made for us in Vermont, local cheeses, and more. And we make all our desserts right here at the Roundabout. From scratch!

We spent the weekend in Portsmouth at the Fairfield Inn and Resorts Suite. The first morning, the breakfast room was too crowded, so we ventured out. We noted this diner and decided to try it out. This is an old fashioned diner where the food is great and the portions generous. The place was busy, but the wait was short.... More

Driving north recently, it was a busy holiday weekend Friday night, both my wife and I wanted to stop for a bite to eat. We got off the highway and happened to pull in. It is located by two hotels at the Portsmouth Rotary. First my order. Steak and eggs... Steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great. One small wish... More

When we asked the hotel staff for a recommendation for a good place to eat while visiting in Manchester, NH, she emphatically stated: "If you're looking for some good comfort food, then you really should check out The Roundabout Diner." We took her at her word and boy, are we glad we did! She'd recommended trying their Turkey Meatloaf and... More

This is a great dinner & close by to several hotels. The staff was friendly and the menu had a great selection. The portions were very generous and the food was good. The diner has a 50's style theme and is very family friendly.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. Just don't pass this way that often anymore. My wife and I wanted to go out for a late breakfast today. She loved IHOP and wanted to go there. Of course it was busy and the wait was longer than I cared to wait. So we started thinking of... More

I wasn't sure what to expect from a diner attached to a Best Western hotel, but The Roundabout Diner turned out to be very good. I had breakfast (excellent french toast, home fries & bacon that was not greasy at all) along with Maine Wild Blueberry pie. I was very happy with all of the dishes. The others in my... More

Was skeptical when we saw it, but how wrong I was. This is a locally owned business that got the recipe right! Great food, atmosphere, and service. In the area for breakfast so we stopped. We had the Hash House Benedict. Never had Hash but I will have it again! We also had a short stack of pancakes, out of... More

This is a real life diner with its furniture and atmosphere that has not been recreated but it is original. Leather seats, counter stools, smiling young waitresses, army guys here for some food out of the barracks chatting with some veteran, truck drivers or just travelers eager to refuel. The menu is extensive and can satisfy every taste; there is... More

There is no better spot in the Portsmouth Area then the Roundabout! I've had breakfast and lunch here on several occasions and it is always great! The service is friendly, efficient and comes complete with a smile! They also play doo wop and oldies music which only enhances the experience! Go and get a meal at the Roundabout!

I enjoyed the Cobb salad which was a full meal. Didn't like that the waitress seemed to have a sore throat.
