While looking for a parking space in congested downtown Portsmouth one day, I found myself on Deer Street. I spotted the sign for Eddie B's. I made mental note to eat there sometime mostly because it had its own parking lot which would eliminate the Portsmouth Parking Predicament. I returned for breakfast a week later. It was just what I... More

Often go to Eddie's for breakfast. Good value comfort food. Eggs Benedict of various styles, pancakes are large and tasty, good corned beef.

We went here for breakfast and it wasn't too good. The atmosphere was very dull. I got biscuits and gravy...the biscuit was extremely dry. It had a lot of gravy so it shouldn't of been so dry. Bits of sausage in the gravy were undercooked. My bf got the eggs benedict with the brisket, and the brisket was tough and... More

Great place. We had a large group for breakfast. Very good atmosphere. Seated our group very quickly. Orders were filled promptly. Good value.

Great little restaurant with personalized service. We went for a late Sunday morning breakfast and had a great meal. The waitstaff was very attentive and personable. The food portions were more than plentiful and the meals were tailoed to our requests without hesitation.

We have eaten here twice now for breakfast. The food is not exceptional but it is good, comfort food and reasonably priced. The sausage biscuit and gravy is not as good as mine but is better than most I have found in this area. All in all, for the price, the food is good home-cooked comfort food and keeps the... More

Traveled to UNH for a seminar and needed some good ol' diner food. I checked my GPS and the first place was closed and scary. Proceeded to the next which is located on Deer St. and found this place. A couple of cars and some locals. Ordered the hash browns with eggs and home fries. Now being from Jersey ,... More

Eddie B's is my favorite breakfast place in Portsmouth. Their food is consistently good, and their prices are reasonable. I love the fact that I never have to wait in line at this place (hate waiting in lines when I'm hungry!), although the owners would probably like to see a bit more business. Seems like Colby's and the (Un)Friendly Toast... More

I've only been to Eddie B's for brunch because the nights that they're open for dinner have been inconsistent. I think they're getting it together, but this is just a review of breakfast and brunch at Eddie B's. The food has always been good, and we've always been very happy when we've had a good server. But if you get... More

As stranded tourists, courtesy of the Icelandic Volcano we found Eddie B`s was just the tonic we needed. We can honestly say that the food was great. I cannot see how you can be disappointed with any choice from the menu. We were there just after 5pm so we had the dinner menu. Do not miss at any cost the... More
