We found this place last fall when my daughter was a student at PSU. It is very unassuming on the outside but what a pleasant surprise. We ate there every time we visited. We have only been for lunch but everything we have had has been absolutely delicious! The Thai style dumplings are my absolute favorite! We live on the... More

This is one of our most favorite restaurants in this area. We eat out a LOT and thoroughly enjoy all of our meals here. Our last visit was spoiled but a very nasty woman at the next table but our meal and service was outstanding as usual.

Trying to find a nice place that is open at lunchtime on a weekend has proven to be challenging in NH. Nevertheless, on our way from Franconia Notch to catch our flight in Manchester, we used TripAdvisor to guide us to a nice place convenient to I-93. We were very pleasantly surprised. What an adorable building! And inside was even... More

My husband & I were attending a concert & decided to try the restaurant after reading the good reviews. We started out well. Great appetizer warm goat cheese, olives, roasted peppers, baked garlic on toast. The martinis were good, service was good. I ordered chic Marsala & husband ordered steak au pouive. Chicken was tasty but the sauce was like... More

This location is the choice for a romantic dinner or celebration. The menu options match what is currently in season and the food is fresh. Menu is simple and this location is always busy. Outdoor seating is limited but suprisingly quiet even though it is close to the road. I had the beef medallions that were juicy and served over... More

New renovations look great, Sunday brunch is fantastic and as always the menu specials continue to be excellent. Can't wait until the upstairs space is ready for use.

Throughly enjoyed the scallops with corn salsa, watermelon salad, and salmon with seaweed salad. The fried artichoke hearts were also good. Ingredients were in season and very fresh. The meal rivaled some of the best I have had in Berkeley. Dessert was a bit of a let down though.

Recommended by our friends, who live in the area, the meal was wonderful. Dining in an 1850s farmhouse lends to an enjoyable evening. We started with a Caprese Salad and the Hot Crab and Spinach Dish, both of which were excellent. Main courses were the Sesame-Crusted Salmon and a fish special of the evening. No room for dessert, but I... More

Lovely food, a bit pricey for what it was. Nice ambience. A tip for the waiters, sometimes you can over do it with the " is everything alright" sorry, but I like the motto, less is more!

We had dinner here in May and it was top notch. Make sure to call ahead because they get packed but the food is worth the drive. Locally raised lamb was delicious.
