Description: George's Seafood is best known for many years of dining service to the greater Plymouth, NH area. Although we specialize in seafood, we also have have one of the best steaks in the area and customers love pairing our steak tips with a seafood item for a delightful Surf & Turf combo. We have our own smoker so pulled pork and rib entrees fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. Enjoy!

We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. When my brother comes up from Texas that's the one place he wants to go. Everything from their seafood to their sandwiches is excellent.

Came for lunch with another couple and everyone was pleased. I had the haddock and calamari combo and it was delicious. Service was good as well. We will return.

I have eaten here many times over the years, but never did a review. I have eaten fried seafood all over New England including the coast of Maine, NH, RI and Mass and Georges offers the best fried seafood at reasonable prices of anywhere from above. Only 2 particular restaurants in Ipswich, ma and Portsmouth, RI rival them. The other... More

Most of all the reviews are on point. Lots of fried fish plates, burgers, fries and BBQ. Retro decor friendly staff although sometime they disappeared for a bit. Fairly priced for exceptionally good food. Only complaint was that one of the employees kept vacuuming the dinning area while people were eating. Will visit again.

It's usually a good sign when a restaurant is packed every day it is open. That's George's Seafood. You won't wait long, and clearly it is worth the wait!

This place does not to try to be anything other than what it is, a fried seafood place. as a consequence the food is great, it is fresh and crispy. If you what a baked fish go elsewhere but they do have hamburger and fried chicken strips as well as awesome onion rings for the non seafood eater in your... More

The fish & seafood is fresh and excellent. It is primarily a fried food restaurant, but you can get broiled or non-fried fare if you look. However, today my broiled salmon was greasy and over done. The service can be good or very poor. Today we had to wait for 10 minutes just for the menu. The waitress did not... More

Husband took me here for our anniversary dinner. And wow...very affordable, From the clam chowder, garden salads, then your meal is a HUGE plate full. Wonderful staff.

We ordered food to go. The clam chowder was a little weak, but everything else was excellent! We, or course, both ordered seafood. It was fresh and delicious.

Service was quick and friendly. Food very good. Would come back again. About the guy who had 12 servings of ribs at closing time come sonner.
