This restaurant/bar is amazing. We went there on the spur of the moment and had an amazing time. Sat at the bar instead of in the restaurant and had some of the best food we have ever eaten. The smoked trout and lobster ravioli were heaven. Our bartender Amanda was amazing. She knew every drink on the menu and could... More

This was one of my many stays with Tall Timer Lodge and dinning at the Rainbow Grille. Wether it's the many steaks or fresh fish options they have on the menu of the incredible fresh yellow fin tuna, you are sure to be delighted with the quality of the food and incredible wait staff. The lounge is a great way... More

Located directly on the lakeshore by Tall Timber Lodge reception. We stayed 4 nights and decided to eat all 4 evenings in the Rainbow Grille, because the waiters are excellent and the food amazing!! We also enjoyed the great cocktails ;-))

The food served up by the Rainbow Grill is fresh, original, creative, and consistently good. The service in the Rainbow Grill is friendly, and spot on. Testament to the food and service? When we arrived on a Thursday at noon toward the middle of October, which should be a "slower time of the season" we had a very limited selection... More

Service, quality and consistency of food. Cooked perfectly. Had steak twice with excellent marbling and fantastic taste. Good veggies for two night and great side dishes. Service was first class and deserts were out of site. Only fault is I didn't care for the pheasant sausage appetizer. Everything else was a home run.

The fact that it is only a one minute walk helps! Great menu and friendly staff. A bit pricey but worth it. On the mental to do list for next year's trip to Powderhorn

We ate here three times. The food was average or better . . . good . . . but average. Price was medium to pricey, for what you got. One waitress was super friendly and nice. The other two waitresses looked as if they would rather be home. Service was great two of these time. The other time the service... More

Whether you choose to have breakfast or dinner at the Rainbow Grille or a lighter fair at the Tavern, you will be pleased with the food, atmosphere and service. We have been going for many years and have never been disappointed.
