We go to Pittsburg quite often. Over the years we have wished for somewhere nearby to get the occassional "fine dining" meal. We finally had the opportunity to try the Rainbow Grille. The service was good, no one flinched when additional family members showed up at different times and added their dinner orders. The meals were all fabulous, cocktails were... More

very nice atmosphere and very good food, I am only giving a rating of four and not 5 because it was very pricey, but had enough left overs for a snack later and breakfast (steak and eggs:)

This is a place that we return to again and again when in the North Country. We went there for my in-laws 60th anniversary dinner, and we go every year for at least a breakfast. My husband's family has been going back for 30 years. This time was another breakfast trip, and three of us ordered the eggs benedict, with... More

My husband's prime rib was done perfectly. My meal was also wonderful. The food and ambiance is amazing!

I've eaten here on several trips to Pittsburg. Both Tavern and Restaurant have very good high quality food. It is somewhat pricey in my opinion. But there are very limited options in Pittsburg area. Seafood is the best choice at this restaurant. My husband had grilled chicken and wasn't thrilled with it, but both times we had seafood it was... More

Had the clams casino and the Woodsman's steak. Food was delicious as usual. This place is hugely popular, so make reservations when you book your stay, otherwise you will end up in the pub which is not near as cozy and efficient. If going for breakfast, treat yourself to a cinnamon roll..

The service was very attentive. The atmosphere is very rustic, but the dinners were "white glove" perfection. The prime rib was cooked just as I requested (just pink in the center (delicious), the salmon was thick and fresh and nicely presented, the trout was scrumptious, as were all the side dish choices, especially the Caesar Salad. The portions were much... More

We had reservations for 6pm, arrived at 5:40 (restaurant opens at 5:30). We were seated first at the bar (our choice). We told the bar we were dinner customers, but they did not offer the wine selections for dinner at the bar and the bar tap could not be forwarded to the restaurant. Once seated and looking at the menu,... More

The service is excellent. We ate here 3 nights in a row, and everyone was very friendly and attentive, remembering our preferences from one night to the next. The servings are large and the food is very good. We had salmon, halibut, lobster pie, and chicken, and we always had enough to bring a next-day snack home. We sat by... More

Had pizza one night and it was very good. The full meal the second night. All 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teams) enjoyed our meals. A bit pricey but worth it for portions and considering the location. Highly recommend.
