This is a local place, which closes sometimes on the early side, if you're just coming down from a four thousand footer hike. Try to get there before 4 pm. Espresso and cappuccinos are hand-crafted, and they have some good eats--muffins, brownies--as well. Nice couches to hang out on.

We were traveling to vermont and tried an alternate route and wound up at one end of the Kancamangus Highway at lunch time. We were lucky to stumble across North Woodstock NH and the Cascade Coffee House. The lady at the counter was very friendly. I ordered the #6- turkey, avocado, bacon, spinach, tomato, swiss and ranch in a wrap--I... More

Recharge your batteries for more leaf watching or just viewing the fantastic scenery, great coffee, homely prepared food with the friendliest staff. Try to get the really easy chairs, you might spend all day there. This is what I expected in country America, forget the chains for a moment and taste food like "mother used to make".

After a few hours of leaf peeping it was lunch time. When we travel we avoid franchise restaurants. This one was definitely patronized by locals. We shared a #6 wrap and each had a cup of clam chowder. Both were excellent. The service was very friendly and the place was cozy.

We went for coffee only but were impressed with the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. We spent some time sipping our coffee and playing with the trivial pursuit cards which were available for public use.

nice place to have lunch and sit outside, a bit noisy but comfortable. The sandwiches are excellent, Service was a bit slow at prime hours so plan accordingly. Good specials on daily menu.

We stopped in to the cascade coffee House after a bike ride from Lincoln to Woodstock. The day was cooler, so we sat inside. Although there was plenty of outside seating to be had. I had the soup and half sandwich combo. The clam chowder was wonderful...warm and creamy with plenty of potatoes and clams. The half sandwich was just... More

This place serves food on the healthier side. NOT COLD cuts but carved meat on sandwiches. Had a honey ham with cheddar and apple slices toasted in a sandwich press... excellent. Partner had a carved turkey stuffing and cranberry sauce sandwich she loved. Two complaints... On a hot day, too hot to eat inside... Breakfast choices mostly have lox... If... More

Woodstock is a bit ridden by time but Cascades gives a bit if hope to the otherwise murky feeling about town. Very good salads and quite friendly staff.

We all enjoyed the 1/2 sandwich-mug of chowder combo. Three of us had roasted turkey on sour dough and one had a good pulled pork. Eating outside was enjoyable.
