Had a gift certificate....OOPS !!! The place was closed permanently !! So much for receiving a gift that turned out to be useless...Sure would be nice if restaurants were required to maintain an escrow account for rebates of money that has been paid in advance yet can't be redeemed !!!

We were pleasantly surprised at this restaurant. Very warm atmosphere. It even has a phone booth inside. The food was excellent, the best blackened salmon I have ever had. The Haddock dish was also excellent. Service was also super!! Can't wait to return.

Drift Away is a fairly new restaurant, and I was in the mood to try somewhere different. Plus, it was St. Patrick's Day Eve and I was kind of hoping for a boiled dinner. My friend and I went and were a little leery since the parking lot was packed with cars, but we were pleasantly surprised when we saw... More

I'm willing to pay more money for good food, beautiful atmosphere, and great service. The Drift Away provided all three. The menu was exciting, I like it when I have so many options I don't know what to pick! I settled on a staple when I dine out: salmon. Cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and just the right portion... More

Drift Away is basically Abercrombie's reincarnated. Abercrombies was a seacoast staple for many years. The family closed the Abercrombies in 2010, it reopened in 2011 as Drift Away - inside it's unchanged, the menu is new, food is good, but not outstanding.

Start by saying spent 85 dollars for three people and it was so bad I was dumbfounded.... I have a culinary degree and they say they have a specialty of sausage bolognese with hand cut pappardelle pasta it taste exactly like hamburger helper. When we told the manager that it doesn't even taste like sausage he told us they use... More

I went with a group of 8 for dinner. The place wasn't crowded but the service was a little lax from our server. She wasn't very attentive. And when it came time for dessert she only asked one person at the table. So there were 7 miffed people that questioned why we were offered dessert or after dinner coffee. The... More

In the building formerly occupied by Abercrombie and Finch which went from reasonable to horrible in a few short years. the Drift Away is a complete reversal. Excellent and varied menu Diver scallops, chicken picata, roast pork, and veal chops along with app's, salads and sandwiches would provide something for every one. Being greeted at the door, have the GM stop... More

We had a quick dinner with our boys and couldn't be more pleased! Service was excellent. Our waiter was even training a new person and both were pleasant and responsive. I had the Butternut Squash Ravioli appetizer - YUM! Our boys couldn't get enough of the Homemade Pappardelle pasta Bolognaise. The sauce was excellent! Great atmosphere and great food try... More

This is a new restaurant that opened up in the place of another long-time favorite (Abercrombies) and it appeared to have a lot of traffic at first, but now that has waned. We know why - it is a horrible place to eat. It is so noisy and the service is way below what is expected for the price you... More
