Easily our favorite restaurant in North Conway

Read the reviews on this site and decided to make this the first dinner of our trip. We were very pleased with not only the food but the service too. Huge portions and good Irish food. Plus all the old signs and trinkets made for a really cool game of Eye Spy with the kids!

Stopped in for lunch after seeing they were #1 on trip advisor. The potato cakes were awesome. Our lunches were equally as good and the service was on point. Everyone around us was as in love with the food as we were. On our way out I ran into the owner May and she was very gracious to hear about... More

It has lots of atmosphere that make it a good Irish pub. The quality of the food was above average. We were two couples and everyone enjoyed the food. They have a good selection of domestic and imported beers on tap. They have an outdoor patio that is well lit at night and overlooks the Saco River. It is very... More

This is a great place. The staff is welcoming and make you feel at a home. The menu is truly all about comfort food. We tried May's Potatoe Cakes which were awesome. We also had the French onion soup and clam chowder and they were superb. The appetizers made us happy and the entrees did not disappoint either. The chicken... More

This was our first time visiting and the waitress provided a few recommendations plus her favorite dishes. A must try is the appetizer- A Taste of Ireland, this will give you a great indication of what to expect. Delicious! You can't go wrong here, something for everybody.

We came on spec and it was obviously very full. But they were most welcoming and found us a table pretty quickly. Buzzy atmoshere and rooms crowded with Irish type memorabilia. Service was quick and friendly and we enjoyed the fish and chips and meat loaf. Not haut cuisine but a very wide choice of good pub style food with... More

This place was great! I have to admit I was unsure when we first walked in, but I am so glad we went there. The portions were large and excellent. I had the fish and chips and it was some of the best I have had. My wife had the beef stew and she very much enjoyed it. The kids... More

Read the reviews ahead of time and must have to agree, one of the best places we have eaten in North Conway. Lots to look at inside so save time to take it all in. The food was top-notch. Everything we ordered was excellent. Sheppard's Pie, Roast Turkey Dinner, Ruben Sandwich, and the Corned Beef and Cabbage. Portions were huge!... More

First and foremost they have Kilkenny, secondly a great menu of Irish pub food. The food was good service was good. Expect a wait for a table in peak season but that's the perfect time to grab drinks at the bar. Beware of mosquitoes around dusk on the patio.
