Visited recently overnight with a friend. Looking forward to it for weeks. Had been there on multiple occasions. Had cocktails In The lounge with a few passed applies. Nice touch. Michael made a wonderful lemon drop martini. Manager came by often. Helped with cocktails. Dinner. Prime rib was tasty though quite fatty. This waitress seemed bothered. Was not personable. Could... We went there with friends for the Thursday night special two for one entree. The food was average, the service was average and the atmosphere was old and tired. It was nice to visit but I would not make an effort to go back.

All in all a disappointing experience tonight (October 24) at the Stonehurst Manor. Four of us went for dinner hoping for the best in spite of a couple of recent weak reviews. We were seated quickly, but then the train went off the tracks... We became initially concerned when our waiter was not even familiar with a cocktail ordered off... More

We ended up here "by accident" because one of our other favorite restaurants in the area had closed. Had some lovely appetizers (the lobster thing! Woo!) and then we ordered the crispy duck and prime rib to split between us... the duck was incredible, and we decided after a bit that it was likely the best duck we'd ever had,... More

My wife and I had dinner here on a recent Saturday night. Our innkeeper recommended this when we said we wanted a nice dining experience. The service was excellent, the wine list was good and the food was wonderful. The scallop appetizer and the pastry pocket filled with a creamy lobster sauce were heavenly. The half ducking on the bone... More

We had visited and eaten this restaurant before years ago. This visit we had an excellent meal. Felt the chef knew what he was doing. We had a lobster starter in pastry, then veal oscar and swordfish as entrees. Both well cooked, hot . Not cheap, $90 but worth the price. Would definitely recommend and visit next time we are... My wife and I booked dinner at Stonehurst Manor on Christmas Eve. Perfect choice! The smoked prime rib was delicious, and did NOT taste like ham the way other places do it. Service, setting, everything was just great. Highly recommend this place for couples or adult groups.
