Excellent Seafood

There were 5 of us in my party. We went for the early bird menu which is served everyday until 6:00 pm. I had stuffed haddock which was delicious. My daughter had a lobster roll served warm with butter. The lobster was soft and tasty. The fried fish combo was eaten by the other three people... read more

My family and I went for dinner on a Sunday evening. Not at all crowed. My wife and son split a twin lobster. They allowed them to get separate sides. Both thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Not being a seafood eater I got the chicken parmigiana. It was OK considering this is a seafood restaurant. Will try steak next time. Worth... More

If you like Seafood you should enjoy the Lobster trap. It's off the beaten path but very close to the Echo Lake Park. The Lobster tanks were art work ,the Lounge was comfortable and Warm, The Owners were attentive, the Bartender friendly, and our Server Jordan was informative, helpful and down right wonderful..Their winter Lunch menu goes until 6pm as... We were staying in the White Mountain hotel and took a short spin down the road to the Lobster Trap. It's a nice setting, warm welcoming and comfortable. We had a clam chowder to start which was very tasty and just perfect for a cold night. I then had a steak which was cooked perfectly and was nice and tasty,... More

I've been wanting to try this place and finally I did. My husband and I went for dinner one night last month. The atmosphere is very comfortable, somewhat diner-like but clean and nice. We had a wonderful lobster dinner for two which was a great value. The clam chowder was some of the best I've had. Onion rings were to... More

I had the stuffed haddock when I was in North Conway. It was very fresh and the stuffing was amazing. I don't think you can find a better seafood meal for the price point.

All during the HS football season, we would go to the Trap either before or after the games. Some of them were televised and we could sit at the bar, eat and watch the games on TV. The food is always excellent and BillyMac makes it fun to hang out there.

I saw good reviews for the restaurant and decided to give it a try! What a mistake...first the decor was VERY dated, green rug , tables with plastic green tablecloth in a room with fluorescent light with bad wall colors. But if only food had been good. I had lobster diavolo at 28$. Lots of lobster but in a hot... More
