Great fried clams!

It's traditional for us to visit the Lobster Trap whenever we stay in North Conway. Lobster prices have remained high this summer so this year we dined on fried clams. They were perfect! Sweet, tender and just the right size. We also had clam chowder which was just ok - would have liked more... read more

The lobster was a big draw to dine in this place and it was ok - we had one boiled and one in a salad. Not cheap but not over the top- around 20-25 $ for one. The rest of the food was poor. The salad was not fresh ( I had to put aside a few "old" leaves) and... More

Finally tried this restaurant after passing it by for years on our annual trips to the White Mountains. But the reviews from others have always been good. Locals seem to love it. So we gave it a shot. Maybe we caught it on a bad night but the service was bad, the food was overpriced and the entire experience not... More

This was recommended to us by some fellow travelers when I mentioned we were looking for a seafood restaurant. We went, and we're very satisfied with this choice. A little off the main drag, it was still a very popular place. We were seated after a very shirt wait. Waitress was super friendly, and offered good recommendations. Can be pricy,... More

We had company visiting who wanted lobster. The Lobster Trap was the closest place to us - if we didn't want to drive hours to the coast. We read the reviews and although we had never been it was on our list to try. This is a wonderful place. We went for a mid afternoon Lunch around 1 or 1:30.... More

Went to the Lobster Trap as a child many times and always remembered loving the stuffed lobster. After many years, I finally made it back. The room was a bit warm, I think the A/C might have been off, but I wasn't going to let that deter me from some stuffed lobster. The waitress was friendly and quick. We started... More

Our server was very nice and the food was very good. Our ordered was prepared quickly and was super yummy. My husband had a lobster tail and I had the scallops. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Friendly place where it seems like everyone knew everyone - apparently a favorite with locals and repeat visitors. Food was delicious - we were suffering lobster overload from Maine and stayed with Italian food and other seafood on our two visits. Portions were ample and service was good. It's a great place to get away from the long waits of... More
