You need to stop by Moat Mountain if you are in North Conway. The Smokehouse has a great feel and the dinner is outstanding. They brew their own beer and you can get a Flight to try different kinds for a great value. Great place for dinner and to enjoy a good, local beer!

In fairness, we went to the "Moat" on a summer night on a weekend - enough said. It was crazy to the point of claustrophobic but we hung on till we got a table upstairs. Its bar food but reasonably priced and clearly it's all about the beer. I'm a wine drinker but my family of beer fans thought it... More

Great food and service. There is a room where they place large families so if you are a couple, ask to sit on the porch!

I had a porter stout to start. Very tasty. Because I am a glutton I got the combo BBQ platter with ribs, chicken and pulled pork. The chicken was over cooked, but ribs and pork were very good. The sauce needs a little something; it lacks character. The coleslaw and corn bread were very good. Good/very good, not great.

Go up the road a bit to Tuckermans in Intervale. Must nicer establishment, way better food, and friendlier staff.

The menu was extensive and pleased a wide variety of palettes (separate gluten-free menu). There were several beers brewed in-house, and the several dining rooms were warm and comfortable.

A really good experience, good food accompanied by great on tap beer. Very busy when we attended but easy to see why, used widely by locals and those in North Conway on holiday. Worth a visit and particularly to try some of the alcohol on tap!

The beers on tap were excellent. I had the porter and stout. If you are a micro brew fan it's def a place to stop. The BBQ was very good. Was it the best I've over had? No. But this is comparing it to BBQ in Texas so I think that's reasonable. Did I finish my whole plate? Absolutely. Had... More

We have been to this place a few times, always with good results. The portions are healthy and the food is tasty. The "Combo Platter" is as ridiculous and delicious as it sounds.
