Everyone that spends more than a couple nights in North Conway area has been here. Great Menu and very good service. In the middle of all North Conway center is it's hard to avoid at least one trip in. Great place on evenings to find that "someone special" and enjoy some great suds. It's one of those "has always been... More

Don't miss the crunchy panko chicken fingers, they are excellent. I have tried many of the menu items and have not been disappointed yet. Upstairs is usually quieter and views by the windows are great. Also while you are waiting you can visit Zebs next door and your pager will still work.

...except we did have a friendly waitress. Problem is she totally over sold the food. First off the place was not crowded and took an hour!!! to get our food. We ordered chicken caeser salads...? Then the food trickled out and was terrible. Chicken was cold and rubbery, lettuce was limp and drowned. The garlic bread was a big crouton... More

I am a local and occasionally will take a friend who is visiting to Horsefeathers. Very popular with tourists but not one of my favorites. I think the prices are high, even though the staff is very friendly. Excellent location right in the middle of town and close to the train station.

As we walked around we stopped in Spoons which is part of Horsefeathers. Nice little ice cream parlor. Old fashion type place. Staff was great and we enjoyed our ice cream in a waffle cone. So glad we stopped in here.

Had a "Rachel" sandwich which was like an open face Reuben but with coleslaw instead of sauerkraut. It was just okay. Not terribly tasty. My friend had clam chowder which she said was good but not outstanding. Service was fast and prompt but not particularly friendly. Not likely to go again.

We retuned to New England after 10 years and did a tour of our favorite places, some disappointed others did not. Horesefeathers changed as bit, not sure why they made it smaller. But good staff, great drinks, consistent food from the past, new stuff on menu not so great. Still the go-to place in North Conway for this traveler.

Was in North Conway with 7 friends for a golf weekend. We decided to stop in at Horsefeathers for a drink. Nothing happening, at all! Stanley Cup playoffs were on 1 tv, the Red Sox game on another and some local or New Hampshire Senate hearing on the tv over the fireplace - ?? We were all asking ourselves, how... More
