The local grocer is AMAZING. The vegan (with cashew cheese) is so da** good. The girl with the dread locks always remember us even though we live over 3 hours away in Maine. She is awesome and always makes sure my meal is vegan (olive oil vs butter- cashew cheese vs swiss etc) the service is incredible and the food... More

Best natural foods store and restaurant/deli in the Mt. Washington Valley. We are fortunate to have this store/restaurant in the valley.

A huge menu of fresh, organic food items, delicious coffee with coffee ice cubes in the iced coffee, and a wonderful selection of organic and gluten free items in the store - everything you could possibly need. I believe I may be addicted to their paleo muffins!

After hiking Dianna's Bath we came to the grocer for lunch. It wasn't too far and had good reviews so we figured - why not. The Local Grocer is one of these "food revolution" places. The food is fresh, a lot if not all, is organic. It has a rustic feel to it. We had an array of sandwiches and... More

Good option to buy what you are missing for breakfast or snacks while traveling in the area. Some fruits and veggies available. Lovely service.

Fabulous spot for the "mindful diners", those who prefer all natural, vegan or vegetarian or gluten free, even probiotic. But first: ladies if your guy pooh poohs this kind of grocery or menu, send him 50 yards up the road to Moat Mountain where he can have a brew and a barbecue sandwich (see my review). So back to The... More

We came here quite a few times for lunch during our week long stay. They have delicious sandwiches/wraps (especially the curry chicken wrap) & smoothies. The staff is super friendly and helpful. So nice that they finally have a health food store in the No Conway area. It was also a 1/4 mile from where we were staying which was... More

Best find east of the White Mountains for organic or gluten free foods. On our last trip to North Conway was looking for a place we could have breakfast as we have a gluten free and we only eat non gmo or organic foods hard to find anything north of Concord. Got the reviews from Trip advisor and decided to... More

I absolutely LOVE this place. From essential oils to groceries, Deli/ bakery to lattes! Really, this store knows local and organic. A true health food store in the mountains with everything you need- and more! I buy a loaf of their fresh baked organic sourdough bread often and it is wonderful. So many great vegan and gluten free options available,... More

Brake practice for Mt Washington with a N Conway traffic grid luck U turn and brought us back into The Local Grocer. Super stop for a great lunch. Warmly friendly, awesomely helpful and better even with a Ranchilio produced Capp to savour ... with lunch in a bag for the road. Our server recommended the curry chicken with spinach while... More
