Good food and margaritas

I have a friend who's addicted to this place. It's good -- flavorful and above-average food, good margaritas, very friendly service (sometimes too friendly). The prices are some of the highest I've paid for Mexican food, though. I like the atmosphere and the layout of the main restaurant, and... read more

2nd time to la Carreta Went on busy Saturday night. Walked in provided our name to host/hostess and got a buzzer pushed at us (no expected time given) . I waited another 20 and decided to ask estimated wait they said another 45 mins, host was pretty abrupt and said " if you can't wait then turn in your buzzer"... More

Visited La Carreta while in town on business. This place was hoppin'! Waited 20 minutes for a table on a Thursday night, and it was worth the wait. The chips, guac and salsa were yummy -- menu so large it was difficult to choose, but the waitstaff very happy to make reccos. Corn tortillas avail for the gluten free!

Always has the best Mexican food. Doesn't hurt that it was founded by Mexican people. Caso Fandito is great, but messy as hell(but worth it)Their Chimichangas Burritos etc. are always very good. You can dial up or down the heat by letting them know your limits. Prices are very reasonable. Two people soup-nuts will run less than $40. Drinks, however... More

Most authentic Mexican restaurant in the area! Get here early or visit during non peak hours because this place is ALWAYS packed and there's always a long wait. Luckily for us, we scored seats at the bar so we were able to munch on the delicious house chips and salsa and ordered some Sol beer while we waited for for... More

We lived in Texas for a couple of years and missed La Carreta! The food is always consistent here and the service is good and quick. It was one of the first stops we made when we returned to NH.

Lots of friends had highly recommended La Carreta for Mexican food: finally took the plunge, place was packed on a weekend evening, waited about 45 minutes before we finally got seated. Pretty standard Mexican menu. Not a bad place to dine every so often. Will come back every so often.

Good food at good price. This busy location serves up some great food. Service is fast, efficient and friendly. There is a long wait to be seated if you come during the dinner rush. The bar section is busy. Would go there again.
