Not your usual pasta joint

The food was delicious and the staff was attentive and helpful. The menu is interesting and the choices can be difficult to make because things are not the usual choices you find at pasta/pizza joints. The pasta is homemade. I asked the waiter to suggest a meal and he did, describing it in a way... read more

Visited Lui Lui this week with my son after brewing beer. It was a Wednesday night and not terribly busy. No problem parking in the small lot, though it wasn't at first obvious how to get into the lot. The interior is pretty nice, low lighting, big pizza oven prominently displayed. We were shown to the lower floor and had... More

Had passed by this restaurant several times without stopping as even the name "LUI LUI" ("HIM HIM" in Italian) reeked of usual Italian American fare that has almost nothing to do with real Italian cuisine. In any event we stopped this time and I was right. The fare is slightly above Olive Garden's (enough said on that). The pizza was... More

At first we were a little leery about the place. From the outside it does not look the best, but the parking lot was full. From the very beginning our waiter made us feel welcomed and wanted us having fun. He recommended some dishes for us and they all turned out fantastic. The meal was large enough that we took... Super- wonderful food. Service excellent. We enjoyed all. Appetizer great. Main dish also great. Lobster & squash fettuccine, black & blue salads & fresh bread.

We have gone to Lui Lui numerous times over the long years. My recent visit with two friends was less than inspiring. I can't complain about the service which was good. I was just very disappointed with the pasta that came with my eggplant parmesan. The pasta was overcooked to my standards and the supposed marina sauce was bland to... More

On a busy Friday or Saturday night always utilize the call ahead seating. The wait is a little shorter. What's nice is the jewelry shop next door to help pass the time, or look at the menu to order when the server approaches. The food was delicious...the warm bread with seasoneded olive oil, beet salad, meatballs and the special of the night... The food was okay. Service was great. We had the ravioli, mac and cheese, and chicken piccata. While we still like Bertucci better, this is like home cooked meal, so there is a certain feel-good to that. Huge servings too!

Lui-Lui is right in the midst of south Nashua's various malls so it's often been a lunch destination on a Saturday shopping trip. Their bread is wonderful, served warm with oil for dipping, and their lunch offerings have never disappointed. They have an upstairs room and a downstairs room; I much prefer the upstairs room. This restaurant was a Chinese... More
