The cantina like ambiance is very entertaining and the seating options can accommodate singles, couples and families. the drinks are great, the selection of tequilas is excellent. Good selection of beers and the usual non-alcoholic beverages. the entrees involving sauces and melted cheeses are typical TexMex and are quite acceptable although not remarkable. Avoid anything with corn tortillas, they are... More

Yes it is small and cramped but the food is fresh simple and just really good! Family owned. Good selection of tequila. You are not rushed. Have never had a bad or mediocre experience.

This is the real deal. 200% authentic freshly made Mexican food. The reason I am giving it 4/5 stars is that I have eaten there both eat in and take out and when you eat in, you get 1 round of chips and salsa on the house. If you ask for more, there is an extra charge which, I guess... More

We decided to try El Colima based on the wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor. After our meal we were quite puzzled by the high ratings. The frozen Margaritas were pricey and lacking any taste of tequila. The flavor of cilantro in the guacamole was non-existent and the complimentary salsa was too bland for our taste. My husband's Pollo Ranchero was... More

I read about El Colima in the Boston Globe a few years back and saved the clipping. Boy am I glad that I did!! We were warmly greeted at the door and seated promptly for lunch. Our waitress, Ely, was professional and personable--the Real Deal!!! What followed was beyond our expectations. Favorite Dinning Companion ordered Letter G: 1 chicken burrito,... More

We visited again and were not disappointed. Arriving at peak time, it was a wait for a table. But it was worth it. Always enjoy the variety of their menu. The food here always has great flavor, and there is usually enough to take home leftovers. And it's one of the few places where my family knows I'll be finishing... More

We love coming here for great food and haven't been disappointed yet. We all order something different each visit so have tried quite an assortment of their food. The enchilada mole sauce is delicious, and so much better than some of the other Mexican restaurants in the area. We also love their salsa - always fresh and full of flavor.... More

My husband and I tried out this restaurant based on the reviews. Yuk! The service was good and the drinks were decent. And the salsa and guacamole were good too. However, the chips were very greasy and had no flavor whatsoever. We both ordered fajitas, one vegetarian, the other steak. Both had 90% onions, no exaggeration. They were greasy too.... More
