We went on a wet july night. Busy but we had a table straight away. Water arrived and nachos with a thin but tasty salsa. We all had fajitas. Large portion. Good taste and tender steak. The margaritas were disappointing. Far far too sweet. Possibly a bottle mix not fresh....suggest asking before ordering as we did not. Overall we would... More

Overall the restaurant was good. There were chips and salsa served on the table. The salsa was spicy, which I like, but was more like a pasta sauce consistency. The meals we ordered were average but not bad for the price. If you're in the mood for a Margarita--this must be the place to be! The selection was huge. The... More

Decided to go try a new Mexican Restaurant for Cinco de Mayo, since it was a holiday there were no Luncheon Specials. My husband ordered the Rib Eye Steak (Bistec A La Mexicana) He said it was Very Good, would order it again.. I ordered the Special Combo Plate of Tostada, Taco and Chimichangas and would order it again. We... More

The food was decent (salsa is a joke, tastes like Ragu pasta sauce) but the big problem was the surprise bill. 76$ for two pitchers of bottom shelf margaritas. Unreal. We felt bad about the tip amount we left, but refused to tip on the pitchers. We'll never go back.

Ate dinner here this week .... I thought the complimentary chips and salsa were rather lame, and the prices high, but overall the food was okay and portions huge. Service was good. Their kitchen was full of smoke when I arrived (you could see it when they opened the door) .... they said they are having issues with the fan,... More

The food is terrific. Family owned and owner often does the cooking. Same owners as El Centenario in Wolfeboro.

The food here was really good. The portions are huge. The staff was helpful. The decor was sort of kitschy Mexican. The view from the enormous front window - New Hampshire mountains - was beautiful. A winner of a restaurant.

I currently live in the south and was up visiting my folks in Moultonboro and we went here. In my current town, there are literally SIX Mexican restaurants--and this place here is great. Just really, really good food. Guacamole tasted fresh, huge portions, refried beans were hot and steaming, as if freshly prepared, unlike everywhere else I've been where it... More

I am not a huge fan of Mexican as I have the "cilantro=dish soap syndrome" but I know my husband loves it so I figured we would stop on our way home. Our server seemed new and was helpful in finding a dish that would work for me. I ordered the paella which sounded good and I figured for $23... More

Went to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends. We were not disappointed, the food was great. There were four of us and we thought the total bill was very reasonable, so I don't understand complaints about prices. Our dining partners spend their winters just a few miles from the Mexican border and they thought the mole sauce was the... More
