Family friendly with sophisticated food

We made a reservation for 8 and were seated promptly, with a smile. We were not rushed through dinner. It was all well paced, except for a delay when dessert was ordered. It did come with a great rendition of Happy Birthday for our 8 yr old. The shared salad was fresh and plentiful. The salmon... read more

Great atmosphere. The menus are wood, and it feels like you're a kid getting ready to eat at an old summer camp. Wonderful idea! The food was good, but it's a little pricey and there's not much of a selection. We'd love to eat here all the time because it's convenient and fun, but we'd love to see more comfort... More

The food is good and basic fare, but the prices have been steadily creeping higher and higher. Might have to start searching for another spot.

They sat us right away however we sat there for 20 mins and not 1 waiter came over to take a our drink order. People walked in 10 mins after us and were greeted right away. Several waiters walked right by our table and no one even asked if we were being taken care of. We ended up walking out... More

Happened across this place on accident and i'm so glad I did! I feel like it is the best little kept secret around. It's tucked away in the corner of Mills Falls Inn and really has that cozy-everyone's friends kind of feel to it! Everyone's super friendly and helpful. I got the Lobster Mac and Cheese which is to DIE... More

My husband and I came here last week for the first time and we were seated at a table with a racial slur carved into the wood with resin over it to ensure it was a purposefully placed word. We couldn't enjoy our meal because we were just too distracted by the restaurants distaste... The food was overpriced too! We... More

Hello - thank you for taking the time to write about your visit. Our tables were carved by our guests when we first opened, mostly with their last names. We looked at the word in question, and it is a last name of Nordic descent, carved at one time by one of our guests. More

Save your time and money. Service is very slow there, food is over priced for low quality food. What I mean by that is you could go to a diner and get better food at a better price maybe even a better cocktail. It is very small inside, you feel cramped when sitting at the tables.

After living in Meredith for 4 years now, my husband and I decided to have a night to ourselves and visited Camp for the first time Friday night after hearing good word of it. The restaurant was small, but very cute. The host was very kind and took us to our table while asking how our day was. We were... More

Camp is such an adorable place on the one hand, Adirondack furniture and feel, wooden menus, cute dishes like a long wooden panel with "crackers" covered in cheese, towers of onion rings, BUT you wait a long time for a table and if you get the wrong waitress (we did) service is really slow. We waited forever for drinks, one... More

We loved the camp restaurant.. The food was really good. It was a very unique fun place. The service was excellent. We both had different salads with salmon on top the salmon was cooked just right. It's a very small intimate place with the fireplace. It's got a really cute little Full service bar. It was so good we returned... More
