Pollo Milanese - must be Italian for melt in your mouth. The service we got from everyone made me feel like an invited guest. The homemade limoncello to end the meal was a nice touch. We had a beautiful table overlooking the lake. This is quite romantic spot.

I hardly ever give unfavorable reviews, but was so disappointed with my experience, this may be the first negative one I have given. I have lived in the area for several years and always wanted to go to Lago. I went on a date night here and thought the place was charming. Waitress was very nice, although it was a... More

A special occasion presented itself in the form of a 40th birthday for my sweetheart and we decided on Lago's... *We arrived on a Friday night with no reservations and got a seat within seconds. We were seated in the back half / porch section and had a beautiful view of the lake, *The ambiance was perfect & the temperature... More

My Bad! I read all the reviews and noted that folks found that the food could be spotty at times, but, on balance, the reviews were good. HOWEVER---I ordered eggplant parmigan which, when it arrived, had the consistency of charred hockey puck. It was somewhere with overly sweet tomato sauce and accompanied by spaghetti that was equally too sweet. Two... More

I met a friend here for a Friday evening dinner. The location right on the lake can't be more perfect. The house wines are drinkable and only $20 a bottle. If you want something fancier, they have that too. The meals were relatively pedestrian, but good. However, if you are thinking of going, do not order the full dinner size... More

First, I have to say we have been here before, and never been disappointed in past. As a member of the Common Man family they meet a certain standard. Welcoming, comfortable with excellent service and varied menus. The apps were delicious and abundant. We had a creamy Gorgonzola Fondue and a Calamari plate. The Calamari was lightly fried and golden... More

Great spot for dining in the Lakes Region. Wine down Wednesdays are a favorite with half-priced wine. Bolognese is awesome!

Reviews are mixed, but we liked the atmosphere, the service, the food and the prices. We were warned that the portions are enormous and indeed they were. One starter, one salad and one main were ample for us. Mind you, we are English.

Previous reviews have not been too complimentary of Lago. However, the fact we ate here on both nights is testimony to our feelings for this lively restaurant. Clearly popular with the locals especially on Win(e)down Wednesday when a bottle of wine is half price. Good food and plenty of choice...ask about their daily specials.
