This was another first to a long time Manchester Mill Yard restaurant. It was a last minute decision was made to head here, since it was getting close to the time restaurants close on Sunday night. We arrived about a half hour before closing time of 8pm. We were welcomed in and seated. Being just before closing time there were... More

This is where we go when we want to eat somewhere quiet enough for conversation. The food is OK, rarely great. Menu does not change enough and are not enough options for vegetarians or those who eat seafood but not meat. Service is generally professional but rarely remarkable. Bread is plain white baguette. Food often a bit greasy but occasionally... More

I rate Cotton as one of the best restaurants I have been to, which include some very nice ones from NYC and SFO. They serve very solid good American dishes that I normally would not eat in most restaurants, such as burgers, meatloaf, popcorn shrimp, and fried chicken. I am impressed by their quality, attention to details, value, and consistency.... More

Have never had a bad experience here. Jeff and Peaches know how to treat their guests. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes. Great portion....just enough room for a delicious dessert and coffee. Fantastic martini menu also....we try something new every time. Never been disappointed!

We made a reservation at Cotton, and the table was ready for us. Each of us four found something that appealed to us from the menu of a mix of comfort food, seasonal specialties, and light foods. My choice of butternut squash ravioli was wonderful, accented by cranberries, hazelnuts, and fresh sage. We accompanied our dinner with a very nice... More

We went to Cotton on the recommendation of a local. Decent food, service and the like. It's described as being very "hip" but I didn't see that; it was pretty generic. Menu had some imagination, not overly eclectic, but not "safe" either. Portion sizes were good. Turkey schnitzel was interesting and quite a surprise.

We've eaten at Cotton three times in the past few months and each time was a good experience. The dishes are nicely presented and each is a very creative use of fresh, high quality ingredients. Portions are generous so we usually take home leftovers. Prices aren't cheap but the quality and quantity of food served justifies the cost, so it... More

weekday night, on the early side, friend and i sit at the very elegant, nicely decorated bar. our server, Ashley, was quick to greet us and we ordered bottled beer.. Bass, (eh!) due to "slim" selection of draft beers (no IPA offered, and out of 4 drafts one was pumpkin something or other). the wine list is much better with a... More

We visited Cotton for the first time and were thoroughly impressed with the decor and mostly the food and service. Our meals were nicely prepared and exactly as advertised. They were tasty and pleasing. Our server did not intrude during the mean except to ask is everything was to our satisfaction. Our drinks were wonderful.

I come to Manchester on a regular basis for business and go to Cotton every time I come here! Their lamb steak is my favorite meal there, it is high quality, taste great and the mint pesto sauce that it comes with greatly compliments the lamb! I've also had their steaks and turkey schnitzel, which are also great. I know... More
