A co-worker and I tried Cotton out tonight. The restaurant is in a beautiful old building and is decorated with vintage posters. Service was great and attentive, very familiar with the menu and made great recommendations. I had the Delmonico with a Crème Brulee for desert. The steak was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes are NOT to be... More

We've never been disappointed here. This is our go-to when looking for somewhere nice in Manchester. Friends crave the steak, saying that it's the best they've ever had. I could live off of the Farmhouse Salad, and it's big enough that one could make a meal of it, too. The bruschetta's great, the potstickers are great, and the chicken satay... More

It's a small place hidden in back of the old mills. Very quaint inside but a little odd looking outside. the food is excellent and the service we had was very good, far above average. Our server made suggestions and offered her own experience from having eaten some of the meals. During spring, summer and fall, there is outside seating.... More

We arrived about 5 minutes early for a 7:00 reservation made through Open Table several weeks in advance. When we arrived, the restaurant appeared to be full; the hostess told us that they had a fire in their dishwasher, but that we we're welcome to go the bar. I asked what that meant. A second (older) hostess then said "We... More

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff and most importantly, excellent food. You won't find a million and one items on the menu, which I think is a good sign! We had the meatloaf and fried chicken and they were both outstanding. Price was good as well (approx $15-20 for main course). I'd recommend a reservation if you're going on a weekend.... More

Wow - I'm a bit jaded on New England food scene outside of the deliciousness of Nantucket and Boston so I wasn't expecting much. Completely blown away by over the top friendly service with great recos and what to avoid. Scallops with hearty sweet potato hash with corn and bacon hit the spot! Normally I'm never fully satisfied after scallops... More

Had the Mediterranean Salad with salmon. I am not a big salmon fan but it was the only salad on the lunch menu. I was very pleasantly surprised with how delicious the salmon was. It was moist and lightly seasoned with tziki sauce and vinaigrette on the Greek inspired salad. Just a delight. But for $11.95 I would have expected... More

I wrote a review a little while back saying how good Cotton was but we couldn't do it justice as we only had one appetizer and one entree between us. Well recently we went back to do Cotton justice and that is what we did. We were seated in a booth in the bar area as the tables downstairs are... More

Lovely restaurant in old cotton mill. Great decor inside, surprise garden dining (seasonal). Both times we had drinks and appetizers, which was plenty. Fun staff. Take time to walk along the water after dining.

...and we sure didn't regret it. Easy access off of the highway and easy parking in the old mill section. No problem parking even with a Fischer Cats ball game in progress. Cotton is casual/upscale and you won't be out of place in either dress or upscale casual clothes. The atmosphere is sporty/lofty with a vine covered out door patio... More
