Awesome food. Period. We went for valentines day. Our menu consisted of the hot goat cheese app, lamb/asparagus/fingerling potatoes and steak with mashed potatoes. My lamb was the bomb and the mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had in my life. Overall great experience. A little hard to find, but cool intimate atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and great food.... More

There was a time when going out for a martini and apps at Cotton was one of my favorite stops. I hadn't been for quite some time and wasn't sure why I had stopped, so we made a trip over for dinner. I remember now why I had stopped. Something about the bartender that works there is very off putting.... More

We've been going to Cotton occasionally for many years. It's usually very good and consistent in the quality of the food. This time was not so much. It was still good but just not as much as before. For example a change in the mashed potatoes makes them now oh-so-average. The meatloaf tasted like a lower quality meat blend and... More

We recently went to Cotton. I had been there three times before and did not like the food any of the times but it had been a couple of years so I decided we should try again having read some recent favorable online reviews. We sat on the patio, which was a good choice. It is very relaxing and you... More

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed. Outside seating is on the parking lot, but there are lots of plants to divide the two. The bar is the best place to sit or the tables near the bar.

I've lived in NH for about 30 years and eaten at many establishments. I've also traveled a good amount. My meal at Cotton was the best meal I've ever had anywhere in New Hampshire and in the top 5 of my entire life. The steak Diane was perfect in every way. We ate outside on a covered patio which was... More

Went on a Saturday night at 6pm (wit reservations) with my friend, for my birthday. It's been a few years since my last visit. The menu was not as extensive or creative as I had remembered, but there were still some nice choices. We split an amazing scallop appetizer, and both ordered a lobster ravioli entrée. Mine arrived just barely... More

Greeted with genuine sincerity, seated quickly and served by a friendly and experienced person. Dinner was hot, abundant and predictably delicious. Highly recommended.

We live in the area, and have never tried Cotton (other than on the Taco Tour that Manchester does). Our friends have spoken so highly on the place that we decided and scheduled a double date. We made reservations due to it being Restaurant Week in Nh. Our reservations were for 7pm on Friday, and we arrived at 6:45 and... More

This little jewel is tucked away in the former mill district of Manchester. Decor is vintage movie posters and Audrey Hepburn pictures so how could the food be anything but scrumptious. My lunch date got the 3 course special of salad wedge, 3 fish tacos and strawberry rhubarb topped cheesecake for the amazing price of $15 and it was all... More
