This restaurant apparently has its formula down pat into a well oiled machine, and it works, as the place was crowded on a Tuesday night. The menu is heavily into comfort foods, and there were no specials in addition to the menu. The vibe is...hip. The staff were very friendly, and service was prompt. A very pleasant experience, but not geared for foodiesMore

This is generally my choice of places to go. It is a good "halfway point" for our family to meet up. Our wait staff person was Jordan and we loved her. She joined in with some of our frivolities. She enhanced our evening with her...personality and did not miss a thing when it came to our orders. Our meals were great and we always love to come. It is hard to get a reservation but we generally try every time we are meeting up as a family. We have not been able to be there since before Covid and it was such a treat to be back again. We will return! The last time I was there was my birthday, Feb. of 2020. I hope it will not be a long time between visits like that again! Thank you to the staff for providing an over-all excellent dining experience. You guys never disappoint. We live up near Newfound Lake in Bristol and I wish you guys would expand and come up to the Lakes Region, we would probably be there almost every week! You guys rock, and by the way that grilled swordfish with the lobster butter over top was so yummy! I hesitate to order swordfish anywhere as it is often previously frozen or not that fresh. You did not disappoint me. Yum! New Englanders love FRESH seafood and you can't fool us with previously frozen or "old" fish. I know you would never serve that to me, so it was a good risk. Thank you for that, especially. <3More

We are originally from this area and Cotton has always operated at a high standard over the years. Our recent visit was no exception. It is separated into the bar area and the restaurant seating area. The bar area has @6-7 booths for dining as...well as seats at the bar. We chose to sit in a booth in the bar area. The servers are always good. The bar is busy with customers but the TV's are not loudly blaring to make the area too noisy. The quality of the food is very good. There is a somewhat limited menu but we always find an entree to our pleasure, occasionaly a daily special. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food in today's economy. Always a safe bet for a good meal.More

Many, many years ago, my wife and I, newly married, visited Manchester as part of a holiday in New England. We didn't have much money back then, but wanted to have at least one "splash out" dinner on our vacation. We chose Cotton on the...advice of staff at the hotel we were at, and what a great choice. It was the most memorable meal on our trip; delicious, innovative food, served in a luxurious setting. Twenty years later, as part of our 20th Anniversary celebration, we chose Cotton to mark this milestone. And again, this superb restaurant did not disappoint. Grace, our server, was kind and efficient, and our meals absolutely delicious. We shared a salad to start and then my wife had the Tuscan shrimp with parmesan and lobster grits. At $21, the 10 shrimp was far more that expected. It was delicious. I had the fried chicken with the most luxurious mashed potatoes. All in all, a fabulous meal to mark a special occasion. It was so nice to revisit and see that the ambiance, food and drinks were as good as we remembered on our first visit so many years ago. Carry on Cotton!More

I went to Cotton TWO times June 20 and June 21 because the food was just so darn GREAT. The owner, server and the chef/owner are so wonderful and the best is the food is simply fantastic! The Ravioli with Lobster and Scallops was over...the top incredible and the next night the owner suggested that i have the Delmonico streak that they get from California. WOW!!!!!!! My buddy had the meatloaf and he loved it. The server Brian was super and the owner is a rock star. If you have not been to COTTON, now is the time to sit outside and enjoy a wonderful and relaxing meal. Jeff CMore

I found this through TripAdvisor & it was excellent. They had a nice selection of local beers and the menu looked terrific. I had the Jambalaya and it was outstanding. I will go back.

Outstanding hidden gem. My wife had the Retro Meatloaf and I had the scallop casserole from the specials menu. More food than we could eat. Bananas Foster for dessert. Service was exceptional. Plenty of free parking available, but go early or make a reservation.

We scored a last-minute table before a show, and had a delicious dinner. Some of the dishes are long-standing favorites, like meat loaf; but I had the squash ravioli and it was very delicious. My husband had turkey schnitzel--very nicely done, with almonds. Coffee is...great. Drinks are well made. Great dinner, fun atmosphere.More

After our travels of the Vt -NH region finally found a restaurant opened with no sign stating they have staffing issues, etc. Quality food-great customer service! Best meal we had in all of our traveling this week.

It has been a long time since our family has gone to a restaurant where ALL 4 of us enjoyed our meals. From the minute we walked in we knew it was going to be good. There were plenty of hostesses (4?), waiting to seat...people. We were taken to our table immediately. The music was classy as was the atmosphere. Our waiter was professional, prompt and friendly. We had the buttermilk chicken, the grilled salmon, the grilled chicken and the goat cheese ravioli. None of these meals disappointed us. My wife and I split the crab cakes appetizer. That was insanely delicious as well. It had been a long time since we had been to Cotton. We have friends who drive a great distance to go there frequently. We know why now! We will be regulars! Well done! It’s nice to know that Manchester has another top notch restaurant!More

Friendly staff at the front and the bar, where we ate. Wonderful atmosphere, no loud music, clean and modern interior. Food was consistently fine - we had Caesar salad, scallops, crab cake. Good local tap beer. Highly recommended, great quality to price ratio.

We had a nice evening dining at Cotton, and were glad we made a reservation earlier in the day, as the restaurant filled up on a Tuesday evening. We opted for dining inside rather than out, and were quickly seated. Our waiter was engaging and...efficient. Very nice ambiance, as there are several interesting photos and posters paying homage to classic movies and their stars. We started with salads - I had a wonderful blue wedge and my wife opted for the special greens salad. Our waiter Josh recommended a nice Chardonnay. The bread serving was great - hot and crispy. I enjoyed the Bistro steak with bacon blue cheese butter and my wife got the turkey schnitzel; both with mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, and carrots. The turkey schnitzel was good, but didn't move the bar; the butter on my steak enhanced the taste to an otherwise pedestrian steak. Overall it was an enjoyable evening.More
