Good food, great outdoors eating

I've been to Cotton several times. The food is always good, especially the homemade ice cream. Good wine list. The best part is the outside eating area covered with a grape arbor for shade. Spent a few summer afternoons with a bottle of wine over lunch there. Service has always been very... read more

This was the second time at Cotton, and I chose not to write a review of the first visit, two months previously. Their wine selection is very good and fair priced and the waitstaff is friendly. The other reviews I read about their food were very good, making it sound like fine dining, but our 2 visits cannot support the... More

Visited this restaurant after reading Trip Advisor reviews..tucked away on a stree next to the river We walked in about 900pm and greeted with smiles as we were shown to our seats. The decor has photos of the old days...groups dancing.. etc. It was in fact part of the biulding was an old mill in the days when cotton was... More

My brother and I ate here for the first time on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The waitstaff was great, even while explaining that they had run out of mashed potatoes (how does THAT happen?!). Food was great all around. We ordered the crab cakes and pot stickers for starters and shared the jambalaya (the bowl is huge, so... More

Interesting bar/tavern in Manchester - very 1940's feel to it. Burger with blue cheese and home made sweet pickles was very tasty. They have a nice sandwich lineup on their lunch menu - worth a try if you're in the area.

I came here while visiting from out of town. I ordered the almond-crusted schnitzel and was satisfied. It included green beans, mashed potatoes, and bourbon applesauce, which I was curious about (it was awesome). My friend ordered the lamb, and I got to take home both leftovers. The leftovers alone provided three more meals. So if you eat light, come... More

My wife and I went to Manchester for the day and stopped by Cotton for dinner. We were not disappointed. Both of our entrees (meatloaf and turkey schnitzel) were very good. Both came with mashed potatoes which were outstanding. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back our next time visiting Manchester.

Excellent outdoor patio - shaded by grape vines and away from traffic and noise but right in the middle of Manchester. Easily accessible to a multitude of attractions. Chris was our waiter and he did an excellent job describing the selections and advising on wine pairings. We had lunch there, but want to return for dinner. The weather was perfect... More

My husband and I really enjoyed our meal here. He got an espresso martini and I got a Bellini martini, both were delightful. For an appetizer, we split the crab cakes. They might have been my favorite part of the meal with a delicious black bean salsa under them (fair warning: they are spicy). My husband had the meatloaf, which... More

We had dinner here a year and a half ago and were very favorably impressed. This time, at lunch, not so much. The pot stickers were outstanding last time; this time good but nothing special. The crab cakes, a very generous portion for an appetizer, were meaty and good with a trace more heat than I expected. Our friends had... More

Dear Mr. Bauer, Thank you for taking the time to bring your recent dining experience to my attention via Tripadvisor. I appreciate this much more than you know. I value each and every one of my guests. It is equally important for me to hear both the good and the bad. Without hearing the bad, I am unable to learn,... More
