This little diner has so much history, and visitors its worth a stop in to see who is on the walls, the food is expected, great home made pies and meals. Worth the sit at the counter to fill your belly.

Since it was on the Best Diners by State list and we were in the area seeing a performance we had to go and check it out after the show! The locals at the theater raved about it and we figured it wouldn't be as busy as regular dinner hours. The 24/7 business hours are sweet! Not many places open... More

Diner food is iffy at times. Not disappointed nor greasy nor short on taste. Loved that we happened on the Red Arrow for scalloped potatoes blue plate special! Comfort food and a huge portion. It was worth the extra trip off the highway to track this hole in the wall down and experience what the Yelpers were raving about. Fun... More

Diner food is basic fare just about everywhere you go. The food at this well-known Manchester, New Hampshire, diner is above average, to be sure, but the main attraction has nothing to do with food. The Red Arrow Diner attracts celebrities, mostly actors and politicians, and the owner is shrewd enough to publicize that fact. Little plaques are nailed to... More

Wow!!! What a treat. A step back in 'diner' time. Great food, great service, welcoming atmosphere, fun energy. The pastrami sandwich is YUMMO! And that eclair!!!!

Nothing fancy. Diner food--plain and simple. Omelets are huge and home fries are very good. Nothing fancy--this place is about the "atmosphere" as much as its history (plaques above booths commemorating the politicians, actors and celebrities that sat in the booth.) If you live in the area--the Red Arrow is as much see. Basic coffee and breakfast items. Nobody ever... More

The Red Arrow is a Manchester icon. Everyone has been there and it's got it's devotees. I love a good greasy breakfast sometimes, and when I'm craving one, the Red Arrow never disappoints. The food is well portioned and tasty. The service is ok. But if you go ;(and you should) do yourself a favor & order the patty melt.... More

Just stay away from the stuffing. They don't have too many bad things on the menu. Usually packed, there is a couple of tables and seating at the counter. The line fir thus place can be long on certain days..but they do takeout orders..which I utilize often. The only mistake I ever saw with take out was getting wheat bread... More

Not your classic diner that you find in Jersey or Philly but it's definitely got kind of feel to it. Nice place that you seek out when you want that small, crowded, busy fun kind of place with really good classic diner food. Prices as to be expected but not unreasonable for being downtown. Check it out, if you don't... More
