Quintessential New England Diner

I loved the staff who were very helpful and enjoyed the political conversations that came about during my visit. I wish I had more time to sample their ample menu, but the vegetarian scramble did me just fine.

The first time I went, we let the waitress now and was surprised with what happened. I won't ruin it for you but get the snapchat ready to record video. It's hilarious. The service is always good, and the whole menu is available 24 hours a day. I tried the French Toast Sticks and the pork pie the first time.... More

So this place has previously had lots of celebs come through its doors. Guy Fieri put it on his tv show but man such a great find!! Classic diner feel, open 24/7 and the food is all delicious regardless of what the recent review says... Pretty much any food craving you want you can find here! Try make everything from... More

The Red Arrow is famous. Celebrities go there for ... What reason? The food is gross. Seriously. We went, ordered eggs, beans, toast. It was gross. Eggs were so runny, beans were crunchy, toast was burnt. The most disgusting though was the trip to the bathroom. The bathroom was unbelievable dirty. But it's in the kitchen. Yes, the public bathroom... More

Came here because it was on Food Network's Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. It really does have that classic diner look and feel to it. The staff is vocal and kind, cracking jokes and having fun. It was very tiny inside and there's usually a wait with people standing outside and cramming inside standing right behind you as you eat. The... More

I love diners, and this one is at the top of my list. I happened to be driving through town on the way back home to MA and stopped here with my boyfriend. We ordered the blue plate special for the day(spaghetti and meatballs) and it was delicious. It was also $5.99 because we were eating between 4-6pm. Where else... More

The Red Arrow Diner is downtown diner dating to 1922. Five tables, lots of counter space and a men that takes 20 minutes to digest. Too many choices and all food seems homemade. My Reuben on a Rye was hot, delicious, messy and an experience. Endless coffee and banter with the waitress.Worth the wait. Open 24/7 I can't wait to dine... More

The Red Arrow is the famous Manchester diner for a reason - amazing diner food. And yes, the food is wonderful. And it's fine if you are there off hours or whatever. But if you are there during a busy time, be prepared to wait. And wait. On weekend nights the line can be down the block. The place seems... More
