There isn't anything special about this place, but the staff is always incredibly pleasant and I love their homefries. I never had a bad experience eating there and it's one of the few places that makes you feel like you're in a small town rather than downtown Manchester. The parking is easier than a lot of places on Elm Street.

Red Arrow Diner has prominently displayed on their entrance doors a listing of celebrity diners. A picture of a Food Network star is hanging on the wall along with notice of his featuring the diner on his show. But, alas, I thought it nothing special. The blue plate meatloaf special my husband ate was so so. The mashed potatoes he... More

There seem to be some here who had fine dining expectations. This is a diner and the best I've ever eaten in. The coffee was very good, the crab cake twist on eggs Benedict was exceptional (the Hollandaise was out of this world) and the hash browns were perfect. I like to "collect" Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives (Food Network) and... More

I had the pork pie eggs Benny and it couldn't have been better! Just don't give Grandma any lip. Very small so be prepared for a wait.

The fried pickles here are amazing! Friendly service, a great selection of diner food, and decent prices makes this 24-hour diner a home run! Plus, they've got a table/booth area by the traditional diner stools, so you can bring your family. And did I mention their super tasty fried pickles?

The red arrow has classic diner food in a friendly atmosphere. Service was great and prompt. I recommend the Maple Sausage Bennie's. There is both on and off-street parking. There are open 24 hours and have breakfast all day.

Well, okay, it's a "dinah" as we'd say here in Maine. Not quite sure why it made DDD show. Chop suey? I know how to make chop suey with homemade ingredients, so I declined. The omelet my husband and daughter in law had was very, very good and it was huge. Husband commented they grilled ham before adding to omelet... More

Classic city diner. Blue Plate Specials, great breakfast, real turkey in the turkey club sandwich, and home made deserts. Friendly staff and you never know when you might be sitting next to a celebrity or the next president of the United States.

If it is home cooking you are looking for this is it. Very good food and fun atmosphere. You may have to wait in line as it is a small place but worth the wait. Great Breakfast any time of the day

Local character diner. Food is hot, greasy and fabulous - served with a dash of attitude. Let folks know it's your first time there - they'll make a big fuss over you, ringing the bell and everyone clapping. Gets really interesting there late at night. All the night critters come out for coffee and pie and their signature "Twinkies".The politicos... More
